The government owes a huge thank you to the settler youth. They are the only ones growing the country, expanding, making it more Jewish, preventing Arab takeover of Jewish lands. Instead of a thank you they get attacked from every direction. If the IDF did their job there would never be settler violence.

Israel’s stated goal in southern Lebanon is a buffer zone south of the Litani River. If it were to hold that territory, the reality is it wouldn’t be displacing meaningful Lebanese state control, Hezbollah has dominated that area for decades.
Legally it was Lebanon, but in practice the state has had little sovereignty there.
And that raises a question: if it is fully Lebanese territory, then does the Lebanese state bear responsibility for the decades of attacks launched from it?
You can’t simultaneously insist it’s fully sovereign Lebanese territory and deny any Lebanese responsibility for what’s been launched from it.
Israel should not leave the area. The danger is too great. Security demands it. History proves it. A strong, sovereign, peaceful Lebanon is a concept whose actualization has not arrived.

The following 3 things can all be true:
1. There are still many more targets Israel would like to strike in order to further degrade the Iranian threat and help create the conditions for regime change.
2. Israel never believed it could bring about regime change on its own – only the Iranian people can do that.
3. Even if the war ends this week, the outcome – a massive joint 🇺🇸🇮🇱 military operation that devastated Iran’s missile arsenal, nuclear program, military, and leadership – is a tremendous strategic accomplishment that almost no one could have imagined just a few years ago.

Seven Jewish individuals were arrested on suspicion of assaulting Palestinians in the village of Khirbet Humsa in the Jordan Valley about ten days ago.
