Farewell Atlanta 👋🏻 Last count was around 992 aircraft in the @Delta fleet: hundreds flying, hundreds at gates around the world and just a handful on remotes. So how stoked am I that they come park their LA28 Olympic A350 on stand 300, right outside my room at the @RenHotels Concourse. Thanks to @ATLairport for putting on yet another fantastic show!

SUNDAY SHOW UPDATE Hey Folks 👋🏻 So after the show on Wednesday where I had a mad attack from bugs, it seems I over exerted myself, I wasn’t feeling good on Thursday but stupidly carried on as normal, overnight I felt worse and subsequently, on Friday was admitted to hospital after feeling unwell - a huge thanks to Gilly for helping out 🙏🏻 so the doctors are keeping me in and I should be out Monday. Please don’t stress over this, the last thing I want is a big fuss. But we think it’s best and only fair to let all you guys know why there’s no show today. All being well I’ll be back in the seat on Wednesday. Oh, and Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there. Jerry

FIRST EVER (LIVE) DREAMLIFTER GO AROUND? @ANCairport was busy this week with the Boeing DreamLifter moving between Nagoya and Charleston via ANC (tech) with Parts for the Dreamliner. Conditions for this (7R) approach were pretty tricky with variable, gusting conditions. By the time this guy was lined-up, winds had switched and they were fighting a ten knot tailwind! I’m lead to believe that’s the maximum Tailwind landing speed for the 747 🤔 Anyhoo, N780BA returned for a successful 33 Approach and Landing. Is this the first time a DreamLifter has been caught on film executing a Missed Approach/Go Around 🤷🏼‍♂️ Thanks @flightradar24 😉 we got her to No1 tracked worldwide 🌎

It’s official! BIG JET TV’s A380 positioned (with Gear extended) to Staines International for Heavy Maintenance this morning from LR Paint Shop in Surbiton. Rumours are circulating that the Big Jet is scheduled to start operations in Q3 2026. Jerry Dyer was unavailable for comment. Maintenance picture from an unknown source.
