Everyone here knows that when someone tries too hard to seem cool and like the “different one” in the room without having the backbone to back it up, they end up becoming a joke and getting hate. So the comments about Hudson at the Met Gala and the after party shouldn’t come as a surprise. At the Met Gala, his team built up all this suspense just for him to show up looking like a mess, and at the after party they put him in a diaper just so his fans would post things like “wow, he’s so gay,” “gay icon,” “proving he’s gay.” I’m already tired of talking about how Hudson keeps feeding this narrative without actually being it, and this Met Gala was the biggest proof of that. +

@citchmook Quinn Hughes reminds me of McDavid in a way. Super great on his own and in bursts but just not enough to really gel with the whole team. His play feels cold while Cale's feels warm. That said, he is really good and clearly a challenge to play against.

The reason Avalanche fans say Cale Makar is better than Quinn Hughes was on full display last night. Both players were incredible but Makar took over and dragged his team to victory in the midst of adversity. Two goals, assist and +2 in only 17 minutes of ice time.
