She ordered straight from the menu on the table… but the prices were outdated. Now the bill is higher and she’s absolutely LOSING it on the waitress. Should the restaurant honor the price she actually saw? Or is her attitude the real problem?

Hey @TravelodgeUK, starting your noisy robot vacuums before 8am on a Saturday is ridiculous. Reception told me it’s your policy to do so. I’ve had to go for a walk to get away from the noise. Maybe you should advertise the free 7:50am alarm clock service

@I_Dont_Know_Her I haven't watched it in a few years but I think they still try to portray a bit of an 80's 90's vibe where locals would sit and chat in the local cafe over a cuppa, I used to work in a Hotel and some locals would come in every day and sit over a pot of tea for 3 hours

Why has it become a thing in EastEnders for the characters to go to the cafe at night? Why would you leave home to go to a greasy spoon for a cup of tea when you live 100 yards away and could just have it there?

I used to work in the kitchen of a care home & the 'Activities Lady' would come in twice a week and it was so deceitful to Family members & friends because she would pop in supermarket buy a couple of trays of the cheapest iced buns, She would then come into the kitchen & take them out of the packet and put them on fancy cake stands then bring them into the living area/recreation room, put them on the table & toss flour on the table & put baker hats and aprons on the residents, then the home would upload loads of photos to their socials saying they had a lovely day baking cakes & all the family and friends would be tagging each other saying how great the home is and amazing activities etc, it was all a farce & the food was the cheapest processed shit you could get & the serving size wouldn't fill a hole in your tooth, but if the visitors were there at meal times the plates would be topped up fully.

Why does it cost upwards of £1K a week for someone to live in a care home? This is an extortionate amount of money. Why is this never investigated? Considering care workers earn a relatively low wage then there’s a lot of people out there making a lot of money out of people suffering.

@NotFarLeftAtAll I am by no means 'body shaming' & I do like Toff, But if she is planning to conceive, a baby can only grow & develop with the right nutrients & a healthy Mum. I wish them luck but without good 'Mum care' during pregnancy it may cause the baby to be weak or have complications.
