The vast majority of Tarkov players are experienced with well over 1/2k players, it has very good player retention and averages 150k on bsg daily. Unlike marathon who averages 60k, on their highest platform. See how I equated your argument?

@th3jmanx D3 couldn’t launch post TFS because they shifted the dev team to make marathon which is failing. Most of its users are PC. A cheaper price than most AAA studios on release and they don’t break 100k. Scrutinising the player count is valid, it killed destiny. People are pissed.

One of the reasons why scrutinizing Marathon's player count is a 'dumb as rocks' move is because Bungie is one of the few studios to innovate their game and grow player counts over time. Destiny 2's peak player count happened in Lightfall nearly SIX YEARS after release. Yes, D2 is on life support and D3 should have launched post TFS, but the point is, I wouldn't be surprised if Marathon takes a similar trajectory.

@_ex__ex I quite enjoy extractions but I don’t see any appeal to this one over the others

@Awlay__ extractions are just boring, in my opinion they cater to neither pve nor pvp player, it gives you a slice of both but not enough of either in a good way to warrant playing it

Man it just fucking sucks that we slowly watched a game that was so good go down the drain to make way for an extraction shooter. It will never ever sit right with me and I wish it didn't happen
