@AdamSchefter Man, Ruggs made a horrible mistake that cost a woman her life, but keeping him locked up for five years while guys with multiple DUIs and even violent criminals get out way sooner just feels like they’re making an example out of him because he was a famous athlete.
Former Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs was denied parole nearly five years after killing a woman in a car crash in Las Vegas, the Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners ruled Thursday.

Look…I’m definitely not defending what he did. But the judicial system is very lopsided when it comes to dishing out punishments or 2nd chances. This young man made a terrible mistake and it cost someone their life in a horrible way. But to keep him locked up longer than 5 years where if he was out and playing again he could do far more good bringing awareness and change for youngsters to make better decisions. Too many examples of people who have committed violent intentional crimes on society and they walk free in no time to continue the same way of life of crime.
Fact: Iowa DL Noah Shannon placed ONE $10 bet on an Iowa women's BB game, admitted it, and was suspended for the season by the NCAA. Iowa accepted the penalty
Fact: ISU QB Hunter Dekkers placed 366 bets for a grand total of $2,800; one on an ISU FB game. He was suspended for the season, criminally charged, & ISU accepted the penalty
Fact: Texas Tech is going above and beyond to reinstate a player who should be sitting out this season
I feel like with all these wins I need to bless somebody. Doing a giveaway $$$ today. Time to give back. 🤑

@mortimoresays@ptd008@ErikRuby Again they can’t sue. Cutting him or benching him doesn’t change the fact that he would still be eligible. I just don’t get what part of being eligible confuses you. Being eligible is not the same as saying you must play him or you must keep him on the team.
@AwvufanJohn@ptd008@ErikRuby 😂 sorry for a work obligation, and dinner with family not being able to respond to you quickly enough for your liking. My apologies! Never said he had to play. Many have said Tech needs to suspend or kick him off the team. I simply stated if Tech did that his attorneys would sue
Just take him off the team and give him the support he needs for his addiction.
Acting like you can only take care of him if he is on your roster is disingenuous and, frankly, gross.
It’s insane to me how anybody wants to say that fox is a fucking problem when he literally has gotten us fucking here and every player and coach has said he’s gotten us here.
De'Aaron Fox on his decision to shoot instead of run clock and draw a foul:
"I tried to get a layup to get up 3. Force them to need a 3. OG made a good block."
@walkonredshirts Support him with his mental health issues. Never let him step on a football field again. If you truly want to help an addict you don't put him in stressful, triggering situations. It's that simple
@mortimoresays@ptd008@ErikRuby You fucking idiot this isn’t the NFL and the NIL is not written like an NFL contract. For real how are you this stupid? Imagine trying to compare and NFL contract to an NIL deal
@AwvufanJohn@ptd008@ErikRuby My God, you are not very bright. Read any article that details the injunction results and you’ll see the quote from judge saying nobody can legally deem him ineligible. I bet you can use Google. Yeah, contracts have NEVER been negotiated or changed. Happens all the time in theNFL
@mortimoresays@ptd008@ErikRuby Again speaking of being smart. Being eligible and playing him are two very different things. Seriously what part of that confused you? He can be eligible and sit on the bench. He can be eligible and still be cut. Should I use 🖍️ so you can follow along?
