BREAKING: Pete Hegseth just said the quiet part out loud again. "Europe needs the Strait of Hormuz more than we do." "Let them board a ship. This is their war not ours." Let that sink in. America started this war. Trump admitted he kept Hormuz closed. Apache strikes ordered by Washington. U.S. military 70-75% through the operation. And now it's Europe's problem. Germany is freezing. France is rationing. Europe's entire energy supply held hostage. Now America is handing Europe the bill. This is not foreign policy. This is arson. Burning down Europe's energy supply. And telling them to buy their own fire extinguisher.

@BuftonJames @CryptoTice_ Cause US, citizens, press, judicial & Congress alike doesn't sit on its hands ? letting the pedo leader bankrupting the US, crushes its economy, raising gas prices, diverting taxes to Trump criminal family enterprise where his sons keep getting richer on the back of US citizens.

@CryptoTice_ Amazing! Europe sits on its hands while its access to oil is disrupted. Blames the U.S., & refuses to help THEMSELVES, while the U.S., U.A.E., & Saudi Arabia tackle the problem. Meanwhile, Europe bloviates, & throws a fit about their energy emergency. Go figure!

⭕🇺🇸🇮🇹 US LOSES BIG AS ITALY DUMPS BOEING FOR AIRBUS Italy has officially abandoned Boeing’s KC-46 Pegasus and signed a €1.4 billion deal for six Airbus A330 MRTT tankers instead. Rome originally picked the American KC-46 in 2022, canceled it in 2024, and has now fully shifted to Europe’s tanker giant, handing Airbus another major global victory. Italy is now the 19th operator of the A330 MRTT platform.

EVER since Ukraine stopped sharing information with the U.S… Ukraine became stronger on the battlesfield. Is that making you suspicious of the Trump administration?

@FurkanGozukara Europe is already funding its own defense & invest in itself & Ukraine. US & Israel should do the same & stop asking Europe assistance in their war of choice. Armies, military equipments, funds for this war should be exclusively bore by them. They triggered it, they own it.

JD Vance completely melts down over European journalists "chirping" at the United States. He arrogantly demands Europe fund its own defense while the Trump administration actively abandons its NATO allies. Total diplomatic collapse and humiliation for Washington!

@clashreport Your allies are gone. There will only have circumstantial alliances at times & each day of the Trump administration will cement this. US volatile environment, antagonist & predatory behaviour towards former allies will seal that deal. You are on your on.

Former U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken: If we're competing with China one-on-one, that's a game that we may lose. Their market's much bigger, their manufacturing is three times our manufacturing. Purchasing power parity is greater than ours, more papers, more patents, a bigger navy — you can go down the list. But when we're aligned with Europe, with Japan, with Korea, with India, with Australia, with Canada, we go from about 25% of world GDP to 50 or 60%. A lot harder for China to ignore.

U.S. War Secretary, Pete Hegseth, basically admitting the US can’t handle the mess they're stirring up with Iran. His strategy? Yell at Europe to stop having 'fancy conferences' and go fight a war for Trump. The absolute delusion is off the charts. Hegseth: “We are not counting on Europe, but they need the Strait of Hormuz much more than we do, and might want to start doing less talking and having less fancy conferences in Europe and get in a boat. This is much more their fight.”

@MarioNawfal Even in strict geographical definition NATO differs from a european army as it includes countries from different continents with different goals. A european army focuses on european countries, on defending Europe & its interests. Hence why Ukraine should be one of its backbone.

🇪🇺 NATO's top military official just called a European army "an oxymoron" and "nonsense." European leaders have been floating this concept for years, but the architecture doesn't allow it. NATO is an alliance of sovereign armies, not a supranational force. The moment you centralize command, you lose the member states. Brussels keeps dreaming of strategic autonomy. The people running the actual alliance keep explaining why it can't work.

🚨 BREAKING: 🇺🇸🇪🇺 NATO is considering deploying forces to the Strait of Hormuz if it remains closed by July. NATO's top commander says the U.S. redeployment of an armored brigade from Europe will not affect NATO's defense plans. Source: Financial Juice

Sweden Just Bought Four French Frigates. Sweden has selected Naval Group as the supplier for its four new Luleå-class frigates, announced by Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson at a press conference in Stockholm on Tuesday. Defence Minister Pål Jonson cited rapid delivery, cost-sharing with France and Greece, and a proven air defence system as the reasons for choosing the French bid. The deal is worth around $5 billion and represents Sweden’s first acquisition of large warships since the early 1980s. Two frigates are expected by 2030, with two more following by 2035. Not a single bolt from a Lockheed Martin catalogue. Not a syllable of Pentagon influence. Stockholm looked at what was on offer, decided it wanted something that actually exists and already works, and wrote a cheque to Paris. The FDI class is already in service with the French Navy and has been ordered by Greece. Crucially, crews can begin training on the vessel immediately – a detail that rather undermined the British and Spanish pitches, which largely involved ships that hadn’t been built yet. This is the pattern now. Germany rearming. Poland buying Korean artillery. Sweden going French. European defence money is circling the continent and largely staying there. For the American defence industry, which spent decades assuming NATO allies would buy American out of habit or obligation, this is beginning to sting. The shift isn’t coming. It has already happened. @OnlyInCanadaEh1 It takes 2 to tango. Safest border goes both ways & Canada exports less gun violence than the other way around. It also exports more oil & electricity to US than the other way around. As for protection, from whom ? Only country threatening its integrity/independance is US.

@RepDonBacon @DeborahMeaden Even if Poland had spent 40%, it would have ended the same. Trump has always hated NATO for his own personal reasons. Personally, I think it's cause he loves Russia. So any attempt to elevate Russia is valid & destroying or weakening NATO participates in that aim.

Poland spends nearly 5% of its GDP on defense and has done what we ask of our NATO allies. Blindsiding them while canceling a U.S. armored brigade deployment sends a weak message to Putin and a terrible message to our allies.

Germany and several other key European countries have officially decided to move away from their older missile systems and certain American weapons platforms. Instead, they are preparing to massively expand purchases of Ukrainian-made missiles. They are gradually shifting away from aging stockpiles and U.S. systems in favor of Ukrainian developments — particularly modern cruise missiles and long-range strike systems. Zelensky personally gave the green light for technology transfers and weapons exports. He reportedly told European partners directly: “We are ready to make Europe safer. If our missiles can help you defend yourselves — we are ready to give you that opportunity.” Europe has finally realized that American weapons are effective, but Ukrainian weapons have already been tested in a real war against Russia. Ukrainian missile systems have demonstrated high effectiveness, strong adaptability, and lower battlefield costs. In addition, European countries want to reduce their dependence on the United States and develop a stronger European defense industry together with Ukraine. Ukraine is becoming Europe’s new missile hub. The country is receiving massive contracts, technological development, and growing strategic influence. Europe is effectively acknowledging that in this war, some of the most battle-proven weapons are Ukrainian.

An investigation by The New York Times, based on interviews with officials in Washington, Copenhagen and Greenland, has discovered: The United States is trying to modify a longstanding military arrangement to ensure American troops can stay in Greenland indefinitely, even if Greenland becomes independent. The notion is basically a forever clause, and Greenlanders do not like it. The United States has pushed the talks beyond military matters and wants effective veto power over any major investment deals in Greenland to box out competitors like Russia and China. Greenlanders and Danes strongly object to this. (Gift article) nytimes.com/2026/05/18/wor…
