Hot take: The VTuber community preaches 'diversity and inclusion' nonstop, but it's a total echo chamber left-wing or super progressive views get endless claps and collabs, while anything right-of-center or even moderate conservative instantly triggers hate mobs, cancellations, and 'no collab' lists. Real friends and a healthy scene should let VTubers have wildly different political opinions without torching relationships. I didn’t agree with Kirk. At all. If your gut reaction to what you just saw is to look for a quick “gotcha” moment or make jokes to farm likes on a platform owned by a guy you also probably don’t like then you are being desensitized to a degree that is bad for you, your community, and this country. Political violence is wrong and horrific. We do not want that door opened in this country. This is not OK.
