@endless_frank You expressed everything I think in a few words. If they would just clearly communicate the processes, launches, and progress, it would give shareholders certainty. The only serious communications are those they send to the SEC to dilute our shares with issuances. It's a shame on the part of the company that it allows any hedge fund to suppress prices with irregular sales.

$ASTS Incredible that we have hired so many people and claim to be making 6 satellites per month, but haven’t shipped a satellite for over 4 months. I don’t want to hear that we’re on satellite 32 when Amazon is launching 32 in one launch. Where are satellites 8,9 and 10 that we’ve been working on since September? Granted I know that these are much smaller much less capable satellites, but I’m really frustrated with how poorly management is executing and how poorly it’s communicating. The stock is probably right to be down 50%. They need to start executing now.

Hola @Bernabebm01 Creo que la idea de $ASTS es impecable, pero con muy poca habilidad al contratar empresas de lanzamientos. Muchos hablan de la cantidad satélites por mes que hacen pero mientras dependas de la competencia para llegar al espacio todo es obsoleto y en este punto es donde se pierde la confianza. Es una ecuación simple se pierde un satélite retrasa ingresos, al inversor no le importa lo emocional de la empresa, es venta. Ojalá puedan cumplir con el proyecto de lanzar 45 satélites en 6 meses, pero es irracional pensar en ello dado que en dos año solo lanzaron 1 satélite. Muy buen post.

What's the point of showing a rocket landing on the launch pad if they fail to provide the essential service? They left a $ASTS satellite outside its planned orbit. My question is, was this intentional, given that they're competitors? How will they compensate the affected company? This seems like an excessive celebration; they should be ashamed.

No, you’re right, when the company says Capex per satellite including launch is $20M-$22M and they’re going to pivot to dedicated SX F9 3-stacks starting at $70M+ (which might not even be the lowest cost versions because mass of the stacking fixtures is growing), our simple minds can’t understand the math. Two clear examples: $RKLB. Excellent, meticulous management; meets all quality standards, respects delivery deadlines, and is constantly innovating and growing. A company that will last for generations. $ASTS, on the other hand, is the complete opposite: poor, careless management; fails to meet deadlines; an organizational disaster with a good business idea that is fading away. If they don't address the financial and commercial aspects, they have no chance of growth. Logically, 1 RKLB is already worth 1 ASTS. In a few weeks, I'll discount it by $30.

$ASTS is a disgrace. The company's management shows a complete lack of care for its shareholders. They're shameless; anyone can push them and they just say thanks. TAKE CARE OF THE SHAREHOLDERS! Capital dilution, short selling, lack of information, associates who sell shares and do nothing to curb the excess stock, sloppy launches, they never met agreed-upon deadlines. It seems like a company that's just starting to get established. As if that weren't enough, they're up against $AMZN SpaceX. If they continue like this, they're doomed to fail. If Rakuten has to reduce its position in $ASTS to cover debts while still remaining a shareholder in what they're selling, wouldn't it be more logical to sell blocks daily instead of going to the market and being manipulated by Bank of America, stockbrokers, or other traders who take advantage of these situations? I don't believe in people's good intentions. It's all very shady.

$ASTS: I forgot to hit record on the space so I'll do a quick summary here: Rakuten has a market cap of $11B and debt of $35B. They paid $512M of interest in 2025 and will be paying even more as rates have skyrocketed in Japan. In 2025 Rakuten laid out plans to deleverage and selling some portion of AST was clearly part of that. In Jan 2026, Micky Mikitani stepped down from the board in anticipation of selling some of Rakuten's stake and to keep any transaction free from MNPI. This month Rakuten entered into a 10b51 automatic plan where Bank America will have discretion to sell up to 1/2 of their stake. These proceeds will be use to deleverage Rakuten's balance sheet. American Tower did something similar in Q4 last year as they have to deleverage their balance sheet. I'll be there this weekend for the launch. I get in Saturday and will be hanging out with folks at the Orlando Airport Hyatt. If you take pictures of people, do not post them without permission - be respectful of people's privacy! A major media outlet will be taking photos of SpaceMob for an article that's coming. If folks are interested in being part of photos, I'll let them know where to meet / go. @endless_frank $ASTS knows perfectly well who the short sellers are; the stock book lists those who lend shares to their subsidiary partners or hedge funds. A fine won't do; they should be suspended. ASTS's management is a disaster.

I say this without blushing: as long as the SEC is in the pocket of hedge funds, nothing will change; they're corrupt. They should suspend short selling and only allow short selling for errors in trading, as many countries do. To the idiots who will tell me it's impossible, short selling undermines the valuation of companies and, therefore, their growth.

It's simple: ASTS has a brilliant, unrealized idea, and AMZN enters the market by acquiring a company with usable satellites. The market's reasoning is: Abel travels at a tortoise, and Bezos at a rocket, you understand? If AMZN reaches this point, it won't stand still. Apple commits to using them 3+ years before they even have a service? $ASTS Jeff Bezos did not "just decide" to drop 11B on a Globalstar. He visited ASTS not long ago and speculation proceeded. My speculation - if I buy Globalstar, how can ASTS bluebird satellites and ground stations be used to provide service (and what types of service)? Amazon LEO sats are up and operational (easy testing/confirmation), discussions of acquisitions of GSAT were already in play - these gentlemen are not making fly by night decisions, they have visions, they take actions, deliberately, objectively and quietly. Here's to a bright future working with Amazon Leo.

If $ASTS continues its usual slow pace in planning its launches, the competition will catch up with them. They're not the only player in this attractive and competitive market. $Amzn and SpaceX are companies with their own rockets and staggering market capitalizations. Abel, if you don't hurry, they'll catch up.
