@bagel__mage@N3LOANGELO His mindset was probably something like: "If I win, I reclaim my honor as a warrior, if I lose then I die a warrior." He probably had no idea Mundus would turn him into his puppet
Why do you act like you've even played games or seen it's story? All five games glaze Sparda at every turn. Dante has a whole speech about him in dmc3, Vergil is obsessed with his legacy, Nero glazes him in dmc4, the twins talk about him in dmc5, etc.
NDMC fans are larpers.
@Nube_Negrahz@MentalAwesome@DevilJoe6669 Demons use human blood for power. But when you're a demon like Sparda, you can't really use it anymore. So my theory is that since he lived among humans he refused to use human blood to gain power and so he simply ran out of juice after living for 2000 years among them
@MentalAwesome@AychazY@DevilJoe6669 How did he die? Or why did he disappear? No headcanon or theories. Because his absence leads directly to the event that kick starts the series. And Sparda knew everyone in an entire realm hated his guts.
Why didn't he protect his family? Why didn't his apprentices protect them
P.O.V im chilling reading the DMC3 Manga then I get hit with this panal Arkham said Sparda decided to live as a human before dying ya know what that means Sparda was around to be with his wife and Sons before actually dying. DEBUNKING SHANKAR. he clearly read these
@Nube_Negrahz@MentalAwesome@DevilJoe6669 There's literally a portrait of him and his family in the games. Not to mention the convo Dante and Vergil had at the end of DMC 5 Special Edition.
"I remember you crying every time father raised his voice." - Vergil to Dante
He was clearly present during their childhood
@MentalAwesome@DevilJoe6669 Thats a massive leap in logic. We know his preserving of harmony included ruling Fortuna and helping Matier's guardian clan in vie de Marli.
Not living with his family
@Pareillia@RonriiKyatt He also took an L in DMC 3 when he first fought Vergil. Then another L when Arkham tricked all three of them. And if you go to the novels and check his origin story, he also gets a lot of ups and downs there.
@RonriiKyatt Dante has ups and downs in the games as well, the entirety of DMC2 has Dante feeling the effects of killing Nelo Angelo in the first game. Dante doesn't have to be a weak pushover to experience trauma and growth
Because it is A show, it is not THE game. For the show to work like one, he needs to have his ups and downs (and more downs) so he can experience something like building character development or some shit like that. Also kinda cannon to how every game is diff Dante, same here ig.
@kenshirotism Also, I thought it was pretty obvious that despite her deep hatred, deep down she still loved her father. But then her father used that love to manipulate her which resulted in Lady shooting him multiple times at the end.
Lady being manipulated in 3 comes from her being inexperienced.
She shoots Dante because she correctly guesses he was a demon, and had no reason to assume he was good.
Her whole arc was realizing Dante was different from demons.
being a devil hunter in dmc as a human must be annoying for lady because everyone can spawn their weapons out of thin air or they can store it magically meanwhile she has to haul ass everytime with kalima ann and all her other guns 💔💔
