Very sorry to learn that my PhD advisor, Mark Henkelman, has succumbed to the ravages of Alzheimer's disease. I owe my entire career to him - he took a chance taking me on as his PhD student and taught me everything I know about the scientific process. My scientific idol. RIP.

Excited to announce my most recent paper with my colleagues at @neuroscapeucsf. In summary, we developed an approach for measuring attention span -- the max amount of time that someone stayed in an "in the zone" state during a sustained attention task frontiersin.org/articles/10.33…
