@offbeatorbit If I ask someone where they are from it is purely to make small talk, I'll take whatever you say at face value. If you tell me you are from another country I will ask about it though because I enjoy learning about other cultures. Is that impolite?

@offbeatorbit I understand the negative connotations that it can have but I'd say that generally it's a pretty innocuous piece of small talk. Now if your answer is followed up with "where are you really from though?" That's a big problem.

@sponhourm Embiid been the runner up MVP for 2 seasons and only got 2 all-nba 2nd teams to show for it. CJ McCollum is an all star quality PG who doesn’t have an all star due to playing next to Dame his whole career.
