For the past year, Whoosh has transported 5.79 million passengers. China not merely helped to build this line under the BRI, but also trained 600 Indonesians for the maintenance and operation. This cooperation has allowed Indonesia to modernize its transportation systems. The 350km/h bullet train has slashed the journey time between Jakarta and Bandung from over 3 hours to just about 40 minutes.
