Modi is now moving everywhere with 2 vehicles along with an ANI car to shoot the video and telecast it for his PR. The question should be if PM and his security can travel in 2 vehicles then why he was using a convoy of 2 dozens of vehicles for the last 12 years….?

#Rajkumarbhati #India #SamajwadiParty #SP @rajkumarbhatisp @yadavakhilesh @mediacellsp @samajwadiparty

Bad news coming in from Manipur this morning. Three civilians, mostly pastors, were ambushed and killed. Four others injured in the attack are undergoing treatment at the AR facility and are in critical condition. But I suppose it’s just information, not news, since it’s Manipur. I’m sorry for bringing up news from Manipur and disrupting the beautiful, peaceful news cycle of our country. Carry on, guys. ☺️

In case anyone is still not aware, this is the type of harassment we are putting our kids under just before their important exams. This might be from some show but this is exactly how it is done. Some years ago, they even had instructions about undergarments. This is stupidity of highest order if they cannot anyway stop the paper leaks. The adult responsibility is being transferred on teenagers. No motivation, no exam pe charcha, no premanand ji maharaj, nothing will help if you cannot fix the system. Then you want these kids to stay in India & work with worst type of Govt hospitals setups. This is becoming a madhouse as we speak. Someday your own kid will face this. NEET paper leak must be set as an example.

This is a Masterclass in Propaganda & Emotional Manipulation Everyone should watch this video. And everyone should read this to understand exactly how it works. This is not a debate. It's engineered theatre. 1. The setting does the first job before anyone speaks. The entire panel sits inside a gleaming jewelry showroom. Gold necklaces, bangles, display cases everywhere. This is not a neutral studio. It's immersive "ground zero" optics. The host keeps reminding viewers: "Hum Manohar Lal Jewellers mein show kar rahe hain" while gold sparkles in every frame. That's how endorsement advertising works. Abstract policy becomes a heart-tugging spectacle before a single word of substance is spoken. 2. The crying man is the emotional anchor. Sudhir Singhal, mustached, running a "bada showroom," breaks down in tears within the first minute. He says he's ready for nuksan, ready to sacrifice his entire business, because "desh hit mein hai." Rubika milks it perfectly: close-ups, sympathy, "Bahut badi baat keh rahe hain… aap itne bhavuk ho jayenge?" She hands him a glass of water mid-breakdown. She even admits she got emotional herself and has faithfully followed every Modi appeal, thali, taali, the works. This is the classic "human sacrifice" trope. It triggers patriotism and shuts down questions. You can't interrogate a crying man without looking heartless. Notice what he never mentions. His workers. His craftsmen. The karigar who depends on his showroom staying open. The families behind those families. There are millions of them in this industry. Their livelihoods are directly tied to gold demand. Not one word. Because their existence would complicate the sacrifice narrative. A man weeping for the nation is good television. A man explaining that dampening gold demand puts his karigar on the street is a different conversation entirely. 3. The panel is rigged from the start. Count the voices: Rubika, the crying jeweler, an astrologer nodding along, the showroom owner, the woman in the beige saree, and at least two more men cheering "desh hit." Six dominant pro-Modi voices controlling the airtime. One dissenting voice, Satish K Singh, constantly interrupted, offered water sarcastically ("pani wani pijiye"), and mocked for sitting in AC while the nation sacrifices. That's not balance. That's a controlled demolition of dissent, designed to make disagreement look petty and unpatriotic. 4. "If Modi says it, it must be right" with zero scrutiny. Rubika and the panelists repeatedly declare that Modi's appeal is "well thought out" and beyond question. No one asks the obvious things. How did we reach record gold imports straining the current account deficit in the first place? Does voluntary abstinence from gold purchases actually move the needle on anything? What's the track record of such appeals? These questions don't get asked, let alone answered. The appeal is presented as visionary wisdom, not policy requiring examination. 5. The opposition is set up to lose. Satish K Singh's pushback is mild, "appeal alone isn't enough, we need thos kadam," and easily swatted away. Nobody raises the harder facts: India's role in its own foreign policy mess, why China, also a massive gold buyer, isn't facing the same crisis, or that India holds only 9-10 days of strategic petroleum reserves compared to China's 5-6 months. The lone dissenter is deliberately underequipped, I felt he was not well informed for this debate. The pro-Modi chorus wins by default and gets to look reasonable doing it. 6. Key facts are buried under the tears. The audience is never told that India consumes roughly 15-16% of global gold, making it the second-largest buyer in the world, a structural import pressure point that no government in living memory has seriously addressed. There's no discussion of the jewelry sector's employment footprint, the cultural weight of gold in weddings and inheritance, or the reality that for millions of poor and middle-class Indian women, gold is not a luxury. It's their primary investment, their inflation hedge, their emergency security. None of that exists in this show. 7. The ice cream comparison is the tell. Rubika casually compares cutting gold purchases to not eating ice cream every day. "Ye luxurious item hai… ice cream ko kya daily khana chahiye?" This is either profound ignorance or deliberate gaslighting. For a large section of Indian society, gold is the only financial instrument they trust, the only asset they can liquidate in a crisis, the only inheritance they can pass on. Calling it ice cream is not a simplification. It's a dismissal. 8. Then comes the mask-off moment. Colonel Danvir, one of the pro-Modi panelists, says the appeal should stop. Government should force compliance, hike petrol and diesel duties. Basically, bring people to their knees. Rubika and the others nod. Nobody pushes back. The crying jeweler's tears have done their job: they've provided enough emotional cover for a casually authoritarian suggestion to slide past without friction. 9. And then, out of nowhere: One Nation, One Election. Mid-discussion on forex reserves and the current account deficit, a panelist pivots to One Nation, One Election as the solution. Cut election spending. Desh hit. It has absolutely nothing to do with gold imports. Nothing. It's a BJP constitutional pet project being smuggled into an economic conversation using patriotism as the entry ticket. 10. Patriotism is the trump card that ends every argument. Every pro-Modi point circles back to desh hit, sacrifice, past crises, Modi's track record. Critics look petty by comparison. The edit ensures emotional peaks dominate, the crying, the clapping, Rubika's reactions. It's engineered for virality. It's engineered for consent. This is not journalism. The real economic questions, CAD pressure, reserve buffers, structural gold demand, policy failure across governments, exist. They're just buried under the tears. What honest coverage would have looked like A legitimate panel on this issue would have had an economist or trade policy analyst explaining why India's current account deficit is under pressure and what role gold imports actually play in it. It would have asked whether voluntary consumer behavior has ever meaningfully moved a structural import number. It would have noted that India's gold demand is culturally and economically embedded in ways that make moral appeals to the poor and middle class particularly cynical. It would have had the jeweler talk not about his own sacrifice but about his workers, his craftsmen, the karigar and their families, the millions of livelihoods that run on gold demand staying alive. It would have given the dissenting voice the same airtime and the same respect. None of this is complicated. None of this requires a PhD. It just requires a show that is trying to inform rather than manufacture consent. This one wasn't. Now you know how to read propaganda. PS: Took, a few hours to write. Worth every one of them. A writer's job is not just to have an opinion. It's to give the reader a tool they didn't have before they started absorbing.

Pawan Pandey@pawanpandeysp
