We got into Y Combinator (P26)
After scaling SimpleClaw to $40k MRR in <3 weeks, we learnt what our users were trying to accomplish - build companies with agents.
SimpleClaw is shutting down;
I’m now 19, and made the hard decision to skip college to build Result, my biggest bet so far.
Company announcement tomorrow.
ok, back to work.

when you scroll X and see people making $10K, $100K, $1M a month
remind yourself:
- it could be fake
- their margins could be <10%
- its possible, it just takes time
- you are seeing the top 1%
- the algo doesn’t show you the “grind” that got them there
when it feels like everyone but you is winning, remember these things
efforts compound exponentially - it’s very slow at the beginning, but there is an inflection point where it all starts coming out of nowhere
the people that lose are the ones who get frustrated in the “grind” and give up
don’t be a loser

Our IOS app makes $1,900/day
Our Android version makes $400 day
“But android convert way less”
That’s the dumbest statement ever
It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t convert.
As well as IOS.
If we didn’t build Android version
we would be leaving $400
on the table daily

When I started as an indie hacker,
I barely had any experience.
I had endless ideas.
If something felt interesting,
I just built it.
I’ve launched around 10 products.
Only 2 made money.
And honestly,
if someone more experienced had told me:
“this will fail”
“this won’t work”
…maybe I would never have built them.
I’ve realized something:
Sometimes knowing less
makes you more willing to try.
No one truly knows which idea will win.
I’ve seen people succeed with one idea
and fail with the next five.
Some lessons can only be learned
by building and failing yourself.

A lot of people DM me daily asking for referrals or job opportunities.
But every time I check their profiles, portfolios, or projects… the same issues keep repeating.
Here are the most common mistakes I see:
1. Non-responsive Portfolio :-
If your own house doesn’t look good, how can a client trust you to build a beautiful one for them?
Your portfolio is your digital home. Make it responsive, clean, and impressive on mobile — because most recruiters browse on their phones.
2. Weak or Unhosted Projects :-
Many developers have projects… but they’re not properly hosted or showcased.
Recruiters don’t have time to dig through your GitHub repos and read code. They want to see working demos, clean UI, and smooth functionality in under 30 seconds.
3. Overly Fancy Resumes :-
Stop creating overly designed, complicated resumes.
Keep it clean, ATS-friendly, and mention only those things you can confidently explain in an interview. Everything else is just noise.
4. Unprofessional Social Media Presence :-
Many people add their LinkedIn, Twitter/X, GitHub, or Instagram in their resume/portfolio…
…but their profiles look nothing like a serious developer.
Your online presence is part of your personal brand. Make it consistent and professional.
These small fixes can dramatically increase your chances of getting noticed.
If you guys want, I can write a detailed article covering these issues with practical solutions for each. Let me know in the comments! 👇
