During yesterday’s match vs Sentinels, there seems to be quite a bit of drama surrounding the tech pauses that occurred during Breeze and Lotus. Just wanted to give some clarification since the public probably can’t see/hear what’s being said during the match. Breeze (2nd Map) Tech Pause - Mada’s PC crashed 10sec after round start, which immediately lead to us asking our admin for a Tech Pause. We also typed in Party Chat to let Sentinels know DIRECTLY that we have an issue and we cannot play. A couple of seconds later we start dying one by one to Sentinels’ players running around the map. I’ve never seen that before, so I ask our admin for clarification on why they’re moving during a Tech Pause. Reason: Round timer still running, Tech Pause isn’t/wasn’t in effect yet. Lotus (3rd Map) Tech Pause - Sentinel’s PC crashed around 10sec after round start. Sentinels’ player types they crashed in party chat. I ask my admin during the round multiple times if this is a tech pause, I received no answer or any words from our admin for the remainder of the round (1m40s) so I continued to move. Hopefully that clears things up 👍

@KorverAintMe @21277555a @ethanarnold You can’t convince me he didn’t know what he was doing lol. Hell, I DONT BLAME HIM FOR IT with the Knowledge that SEN did it before. I haven’t argued he broke a rule. I’ve only argued the statement that this comes off very PRish, which that’s how it feels.

@AyyyyItsJake @21277555a @ethanarnold You are framing this as a miscommunication when he isn't. In reality, the communication he is receiving is telling him that in fact EVERYONE could be moving during the round because the admin has not paused the timer or communicated the pause to him.

@KorverAintMe @21277555a @ethanarnold I think if his teammates went with him it would be clear that there was actually some miscommunication and it would be justified. I just don’t see how as a PROFESSIONAL player, you see your teammates not moving at all or communicating in round doesn’t suggest something’s up.

If he gets immediately shot instead of when John killed him no one would even be talking about it. They should have just called the tech when he directly asked

If it wasn’t a “tech pause” in his mind, he would’ve played the round as a normal round. Bunny hopping around the map shows he knew
