Birth rates just getting more and more cooked. Only 3-4 percent of dudes 170cm and making 5 million yen per year are unmarried. Slim pickings

Mikel Arteta on the result: “It’s very tough to accept it, but in the second half, we didn’t perform at any level in any aspect of the game at the standards that are required to win a game in the Premier League & we paid the price.” “Too many things went wrong, it was one after the other. We never got any dominance or control of the game. It’s better not to judge it, we are all too emotional about it & it’s not the moment to do it.” “It’s the moment when you don’t perform & you are at this level, expectations are where they are, it’s now you have to take the hit, because we deserve it.”

Weary Centurion@weary_centurion·
Big day for Weary Centurion Today I woke up to 10,000 followers To celebrate I am going to share some personal things about my background which I think some of you may find interesting I love all of my Fin X bros, even those I disagree with But one thing that probably sets me apart from most of you is the place where I come from I am now on the path to becoming a good man (or at least that’s my intent) But I was not always this way I am a reformed character I was once a bad person A nasty person Angry. Selfish. Egotistical. Intimidating 10 years ago I would be more likely to punch someone than have a productive debate about stocks 10 years ago I didn’t even know what a stock was Violence and confrontation were my first languages At the time I was proud of that Now I feel ashamed I thought being a man was all about being a savage Show no weakness. Be a good fighter. Strike enemies first, ask questions later I was wrong My wife saved my life. Were it not for her, there is no way this account would exist and I would be in a bad place right now I owe her a lifetime of gratitude Having children broke me as a person Before we had our first child, my wife had doubts. She wasn’t convinced I would be a good father. And she was right to be skeptical I was not ready to give up my free time I was not willing to sacrifice my own selfish needs I resisted for a while, counting down the years until I could regain my freedom I started booking days off work when my first child was at nursery to claw back some “me time” and stayed up late at night to do what I wanted But then one day I woke up and realised that my life before children was largely meaningless Work, come home, go to the gym. Drink alcohol, play video games or watch trash on the TV. Yeah all that stuff is fun. But it doesn’t mean anything Raising children means something You are now a father. A small human being now relies on you to survive If you fail at being a father you aren’t just failing yourself, you are failing them It hit me like a slap across the face Then everything changed I started praying for the strength to be a better person, to be a good father and a good husband I asked my wife to forgive me for being a burden. Luckily she did Slowly, but surely, I started to become less angry, less selfish and less focussed on myself I started becoming more caring, more thoughtful, and helpful to my wife instead of being a hindrance I started thinking about what I could do to improve my families quality of life and that ultimately led me to the stock market around 5 years ago Every day I become a little better, a little wiser and a little closer to what I hope is a good man If I can do it, then anyone can I am still not perfect Sometimes my flaws become apparent on here but I will always reflect and continue to learn from my shortcomings My purpose here is not just to try and to teach people about the stock market But to also teach people about life I have seen a lot of bad stuff Iv been through dark times Iv been in a lot of fights Iv struggled financially Iv seen rock bottom and returned from the brink I am not your average type of investor I have no financial background No qualifications No wealth If I can do it, anyone can When I am ready and able My ambition is to create content which can help people manage their finances as well as their stocks I am not in position to do that right now, but one day I hope to be So I can dedicate my time to helping those in need I am here for those who don’t have a lot of money For those who don’t have much hope For people will small accounts If you made it this far, well done You navigated the ramblings of a middle aged man reminiscing and reflecting on how far he has come If you found it interesting or useful then I am pleased If it was a waste of your time then I am sorry But thank you for reading nonetheless Have a great weekend God bless

It is 30 years ago today (!) that I made my first start for the Arsenal. Won 3-0 at home to QPR. Was a magical day when my dreams came true. Still dining out on it tbf! 😂 Found a few old pics, including one of me being wiped out/diving 😍

@SyroJaziran I am sorry because I assumed you were reading non-fiction which you were not I guess. Anyway, the idea is that there were times when I was reading books that had no intellectual depth to them but just because I was finishing them every week gave me this false dopamine.
