Dear Muslims of the Australia. My family and I have decided to move to a Muslim country. We haven’t picked which one yet — we’re still shopping for the best benefits package. Obviously, all my neighbours want to come too. And their neighbours. And their mates. And their mates’ mates. Before you know it, half of Australia will be turning up with suitcases and a vague sense of entitlement. As a large Christian community, we’ll need a few small adjustments: Please start building churches immediately. Proper ones with bells. Loud bells. We’ll also need certain streets closed once a year for our processions. Don’t worry, it’s not five times a day — we’re not animals. Every supermarket must stock proper pork, bacon, sausages, and baked beans. We are a minority now, so you’ll just have to be understanding and accommodating of our way of life. We’re bringing all the dogs. Expect many happy Labradors shitting on your pavements. You’ll need dog parks, and you’ll need to smile while we walk them past your mosques. While we’re at it, your religious holidays are a bit… much. They might offend the Christian community, so we’d appreciate it if you could quietly bin them. Thanks. In schools and workplaces, our children and staff must be allowed to wear large crucifixes, eat ham sandwiches in the canteen, and generally radiate Christian vibes without anyone clutching their pearls. We also demand prayer rooms in every building, plus translators because we can’t be bothered learning Arabic. If any of this is refused, please send a list of police station addresses so we can report you for discrimination, Christianphobia, and general nastiness. One more thing: if my kids burn your flag because Australis just won at football, please be understanding. I’ll give them a really stern telling-off. Maybe even make them write “sorry” 50 times. Finally, we’d like generous benefits, free housing, and pocket money while we “integrate” over the next three generations. Work is optional, obviously. Appreciate your tolerance in advance. @RositaDaz48 Nicely stated & too true. Us 'white' Australians are asked to be tolerant, happy & proud for the diversity of the nation ... but is the same asked of the 'immigrants'?

Dear RSL Committee, I am writing as the descendant of ANZACs and several generations of Australian military personnel. This morning I attended my local ANZAC Day service to honour the service and sacrifice of our soldiers, past and present. While I appreciate the broader themes that are sometimes included in commemorative events, I was disappointed that a significant portion of this morning’s service focused on lectures about multiculturalism, racism, misinformation and disinformation. The speakers emphasised diversity and global issues, yet when I looked around the large crowd, I saw primarily Australians, New Zealanders, and some Indigenous people, those whose families have long been part of our nation. I did not see the groups being highlighted in the addresses. I had hoped to hear stories of local heroes, acts of bravery, courage, and sacrifice, the very reasons we gather each ANZAC Day. Instead, many of us left feeling we had been lectured on social and political matters rather than given the opportunity to reflect on the service and legacy of those who defended our country. Our soldiers fought and died to protect Australia and the Australian way of life. It is understandable that many attendees, particularly those with family connections to the military, feel that political or ideological messages, especially those not widely shared by the broader community, detract from the solemn purpose of the day. I respectfully suggest that the RSL consider limiting or carefully reviewing invitations to politicians and speakers who bring partisan or divisive topics to ANZAC Day services. The focus should remain on remembrance, honour, and the shared values of courage, mateship, and sacrifice that define the Anzac spirit. Many of us who attend these services each year, quiet, ordinary Australians who value our traditions, would be grateful if the day remained centred on paying tribute to our veterans and their families. I want to sincerely thank the RSL for the important work you do in preserving the memory and legacy of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Your efforts are deeply appreciated by many in the community. I hope you will consider this feedback in the spirit it is offered, as it reflects the views of a great many who hold ANZAC Day close to their hearts. I’ve just been advised by an RAAF whistleblower that @AlboMP and his disgraceful government have allegedly just cancelled 205 ceremonial flights to commemorate ANZAC day to save fuel. The same entitled grubs that just flew the RAAF 737 with its Italian marble, carpets and French wines to Singapore and beyond to secure one day worth of fuel. The same government that a fortnight ago turned back a Qantas plane mid flight because it was going to land outside the curfew in Adelaide. They burn about 2400kg an hour. Then had to put everyone up in motels. The same government that doesn’t want to politicise the treatment of our veterans and support BRS. The same government that’s letting Gina Reinhardt do the heavy lifting keeping veterans housed, clothed and fed. They couldn’t run a hot bath. The Governor General should sack the lot of them.
