I've made a study of the different dark energies in the series and how they would naturally spawn and relate to one another, given what we have been told in the games, and real world spiritual traditions. I THINK this is as accurate as possible, but may evolve again. Thread:

Looking back, it turns out that even between BOTW & TOTK, we see these three substances too, depending on the type of enemy killed. Regular enemies = 邪気 (Jaki) "Malice" Malice enemies = 怨念 (On'nen) "Grudge" (NoA Malice) Gloom enemies = 瘴気 (Shōki) "Miasma" (NoA Gloom)

As someone who held Skyward Sword as my favorite game until TotK slightly edged it out of first place... Skyward Sword does have lows (Tadtones😒), but its highs are higher than ANY OTHER GAME in the series. For me, it is without a doubt, the best Zelda story ever!

@Kumesicles I eventually finished A Link to the Past years later when i reached highschool. It was a marginally better game than Minish Cap but the art style of Minish Cap still captivates me to this day. It would be awesome if they remade more 2d Zeldas in unique artstyles like it

@Kumesicles Minish Cap was my first Zelda game when I was 10 and I desperately looked for others like it in the series because I thought it was the artstyle for all 2d games. I never went past 5 minutes in ALTTP because I was so disappointed that the artstyle looked so bad in comparison
