@Chronos_Chris @sorocore @mahouteq In short, it lets you run these games natively unlike an emulator. It also gives us true widescreen, 60+ FPS, modern controls, a much easier modding stuff and more. Of course you do have to provide the iso but after its been extracted, most times than not you can delete it

@NeffNoof Had that been the case then we would be seeing any harbour masters and n64 recomp ports getting C&D letters by now, reality is that they’re in a legal grey area because they use none of Nintendo’s properties. Nintendo is bad don’t get me wrong but this paranoia does not help

For those wishing to revisit Ocarina of Time, imo the decomp PC port Ship Of Harkinian with OoT Reloaded texture pack + 3DS character models is the definitive way to experience the game. You have the option to use joystick camera + gyro, true wide screen and 120FPS, mwahhh
