بيان صادر عن منظمة الأقطار العربية المصدرة للبترول (أوابك) بشـــــــأن انسحاب دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة من عضوية المنظمة أحيطت الأمانة العامة لمنظمة الأقطار العربية المصدرة للبترول (أوابك) علماً بكتاب معالي المهندس سهيل محمد المزروعي، وزير الطاقة والبنية التحتية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، الموجه إلى معالي الدكتور خليفة رجب عبد الصادق، وزير النفط والغاز في دولة ليبيا، ورئيس الدورة الحالية لمجلس وزراء المنظمة، المتضمن قرار دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بالانسحاب من عضوية المنظمة، وذلك اعتباراً من 1 مايو 2026. وإذ تعرب الأمانة العامة للمنظمة عن تقديرها للدور الذي اضطلعت به دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة طوال فترة عضويتها، وإسهاماتها الفاعلة في دعم مسيرة العمل العربي المشترك في قطاع البترول والطاقة، فإن الأمانة العامة تؤكد حرصها على مواصلة جهودها في تعزيز التعاون والتكامل بين دولها الأعضاء، بما يدعم المصالح المشتركة من خلال تنفيذ برامجها ومبادراتها الاستراتيجية.
