Here’s it is - my final team for #WorldCupFantasy: I’ve deliberately left 2.9m ITB (see chip strategy below). Notes: GK: I’ve selected the two Scout Bonus keepers with the highest combined CS% for MD1 & MD2. Uruguayan media report that Muslera is the first-choice keeper. DEF: Spain has the highest combined CS% for the first two matchdays. Gallardo is the highest-upside Mexico defender, and D. Sanchez is the most dangerous COL defender. Kimmich is the best asset in the game. MID: Raphinha, Wirtz, and Bruno are locked. Sané is still on Scout Bonus, and I really like Araujo as a punt. FWD: Haaland is the best captain for MD1, with Oyarzabal & David having plum fixtures in MD1 & MD2. --- Chip strategy: MD1: None MD2: 12th Man (Olisé). Planned transfers: Sané & Haaland --> Vini Jr & Mbappé 🔥 MD3: Wildcard R32: Qualification Booster. Later stages: Maximum Captain & Mystery Chip 12th Man in MD2 is locked for me. It essentially acts as an extra transfer between MD1 & MD2, offering flexibility for the draft. --- All the players in the above team structure are among those with the highest projected points: I’ve used data from @TheFantasyTool_ and shaped the team with Fantasy Football expert @FplOmar31. --- If Laporte rises above 5%, I’ll quote this post with an updated team, most likely replacing him with Marcos Llorente.

This is my updated, and slightly less template, draft for #WCFantasy. I think this one needs a bit of explanation.. You can either watch it here or read along: youtu.be/fCPj4Qb-dKs First of all, I want to play the first two rounds as aggressively as possible because of the excellent fixtures. With this draft, the overall plan is: Target defensive players who are likely to earn scouting bonus points in both MD1 and MD2, while setting up a move for Vinícius Jr. and Mbappé in MD2. Use the 12th Man chip on Havertz to target what I believe is the best fixture of the World Cup. Some extra notes: - Sabitzer ➝ Vinícius Jr. and Oyarzabal ➝ Mbappé in MD2. To make those moves, I need £5.6m in the bank, as I don't want to sell Bruno, Raphinha, or Wirtz ahead of MD2. - Picks like Wolfe and Mojica are excellent options, whether you're looking to save money or not. They are projected very highly by @TheFantasyTool_ and are likely to be within the scouting bonus range in the first two rounds. D. Sánchez is also a great pick, as @AeselFC highlighted in his latest draft post. - Luc De Fougerolles and Coufal are cheap enablers who appear to be starters and also have scouting bonus potential. - Kimmich is a must-have and completely non-negotiable for me. - The defence might not look particularly exciting, but they all have decent fixtures, fit the scouting bonus profile, and make this ultra aggressive strategy possible. Using the 12th Man chip on Havertz in MD1 looks strong, as I don't want to use it on Mbappé or Vini in MD2 since I'd like to have them as captain options. ---------- Chip Strategy ---------- MD1: 12th Man — Havertz MD2: None MD3: Wildcard

🚨 Spain plan to increase Lamine Yamal's workload against Saudi Arabia, where he could play at least 30 minutes. The target is to have him fully ready for the decisive group game against Uruguay on June 26, with Barça calm because he will not be forced. — @sport

🚨 Scotland Final Thoughts 💭 ✍️ 🎥 I’ll do a video Monday/Tuesday but for now here’s my hot takes on the 🏴 squad 🧤 Gunn played in the final game so 99% sure he’s 🔐 ⚽️ Shankland at 0.6% owned WILL remain under the 5% cap + I expect him to return at least a goal… but it could be more. Not a bad differential pick 🧠 I think he will go 4-4-2 with Adams partnering Shankland BUT could easily be Christie or Ferguson instead and a 5 midfield with McSauce supporting shanks 🏆 Ultimately I’ve seen enough - we’re WINNING THE WORLD CUP! 🔥 (PS. Yes I’m a deluded Scotland fan🤣) #worldcupfantasy
