@BatVibes While the anime isn't generally supposed to work like the games (School of Hard Knocks actually explains this with the battle simulator Pokemon Tech has), Onix still got screwed over in both mediums. The games with its awful stats and the anime with this complete bullshit:

Onix is a 28-foot-long, 460-pound monster made of solid boulders. The anime treats it like an absolutely terrifying boss fight that can tunnel through mountains at 50 mph.
But in the video games? Its base Attack stat is 45
To put that in perspective:
• A tiny Pidgey hits exactly as hard as Onix
• An Oddish literally hits harder than Onix
When you use Onix, you are sending out a giant, terrifying rock snake that canonically does less physical damage than a walking radish.

No disrespect but if you're looking for black characters in Mario, whose cast barely even has humans, you're looking in the wrong place. Nintendo games have other black & brown characters that are utilized better in their respective series than they would've been in a Mario game.

It's crazy cuz BW1 locking away older Pokemon till post-game ain't even the issue, its the fact that most of the new Pokemon have way too high evo levels making like half the dex shit to use for a in-game playthrough

@HiddenPowerPod Kanto has more paths and is more customizable tha a bunch of new games. It had way more cut content than kalos
