As Holocaust Awareness Ireland says, Patrick Kielty exhibits utter callousness with respect to the attacks on the Jewish community, astonishingly saying ‘the backdrop of that is obviously the horrors in Gaza, this is a complex thing.’
Boy George remains calm and says ‘if you don’t know any Jewish people maybe that’s the problem.’ He then asks the audience ‘do you know any Jewish people?’
Boy George is visibly taken aback by the ensuing silence, and vocalises his shock twice, remarking that it is ‘weird’ and ‘surprising me a little bit.’ Patrick looks uncomfortable and ends puts an end to the topic with a dismissive ‘mmm’.
Extraordinary viewing. Just extraordinary.

Quite an extraordinary interview on @RTELateLateShow last night. @BoyGeorge lived in Golders Green and speaks about his life long relationship Jewish people, explaining how his support for Jews has resulted in him receiving much abuse. Two defining moments come when he asked the audience if they know any Jewish people and is met by stone cold silence. The silence represents a combination of fear that admitting such relationships publicly might cause difficulty and the reality that most Irish people don't know any Jews. As he said himself, the silence is deafening. The second incredulous aspect of the interview is @PatricKielty's singular lack of empathy when speaking about Jews. Here is a public figure who has been rightly applauded for his brave public confrontation with the tragic sectarian murder of his father and the manner in which he has engaged with the loyalist community in the North. How is it that a man capable of extraordinary courage is blind to the persecution of another minority in the city of London where he calls home? Has he been corrupted by the RTE hive mind where the narrative around the issue of Israel and Jews is disturbingly unbalanced? So disappointed. Segment begins at 10.30. Why do I mention the ISM in every second post?
Because it is my guiding metric to surf the market.
Below, I demonstrate why it is the most accurate map for the market.
When below 50 = contraction/low liquidity/bearish
When above 50 = expansion/higher liquidity/bullish
I will prove why we have been in a bear market for 1760 days and why the bull market doesn't begin until we cross 50.
Pay attention to the details because they matter a lot
In May 2004, the ISM begins it's down trend from highs of 61. Fed starts to hike rates. Gold begins a 150% rally.
In 2008, the GFC and the ISM collapsed to their worst level of 34. Fed rates are at their lowest by this point.
In July 2009, the ISM crossed 50, and mostly remained above it until Jan 2016. I have oversimplified this on purpose as it is a lot of info.
During that time, Bitcoin entered the world stage (Sep 09). Fed rates remained low. Gold remained flat.
Jan 2016 to Feb 2018, the USA ISM was in expansion, and $BTC hit its ATH, the $TOTAL crypto market grew from a handful of billion to $500 billion.
In February 2018, the ISM peake,d and an intense crypto winter began.
In May 2020, the ISM bounced off the low, and in June 2020, it broke above 50, which was the early signal for the 2021 Bull market.
In March 2021, the ISM peaked and began a downtrend, which was the early signal for the bear market. That was also the beginning of Gold's rally from $1600 per ounce over 150% (Think back to May 2004).
The ISM is the key metric for what happens next. But the question is, are you paying attention?

Last night, one of my dreams came true.
For years, I’ve dreamed about playing in the Premier League. Some people laughed at me. Some coaches I had when I was little said I’d never make it. Lots of people told me I wasn’t good enough and to give up.
But I’ve always held onto that dream of playing at the highest level. Deep down I believed that if I just kept working, kept learning, kept showing up every single day, then one day it might happen.
Last night, that dream that 4 year old me had….came true.
And if you’d told me I’d make my debut at left wing, up against my mate Mo Salah, I’d have laughed as well.
From non league in 2014, to being released by Watford in 2015… there were moments where it felt like this day might never come.
Sunderland, you’ve been my home for seven years. I never knew I could fall in love with a club, a city, and its people the way I have. You’ve given me space to grow, to fail, to learn, and to find out who I am as a player and a person. To play even a small part in rebuilding this beautiful club and helping it climb back to where it belongs is something I’ll always be proud of.
Making my Premier League debut… I’m incredibly grateful. Taking a moment afterwards to stand with my mum and dad and breathe it all in… that was special.
But that debut chapter is written now. The focus is on pushing on, improving, growing, and helping drive this club forward with this unbelievable group of players.
Seven years ago we were in League One. Fast forward to last night and we have a team giving everything, disappointed to only get one point against the Premier League champions. If that’s not a moment to stop, reflect, and feel proud, I don’t know what is.
Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey; my family, my friends, the staff, the supporters, and my teammates.
It’s just the beginning ❤️
