W17 | Learning about ‘the power of storytelling’ has given my team a lot to think about in our #B329LeadershipChallenge! The video of Jose showed us how storytelling can be used to both explain a problem and deliver an important message to powerful effect. #OUB329

W17 | I think the practice of 're-framing discourses’ and ‘bridging differences’ to lead social change tie in very well with activist leadership As the #Mcstrike showed, both emphasise the importance of working together to challenge established ways of working! #OUB329

W16 | Whilst social media is often shown in a negative light, this week showed me the positive role it can play in helping #precarious workers to share experiences and connect - facilitating the development of strong bonds! #OUB329

@GurungK355 @B329Leadership I agree Kishan I think it can become easily confused. Especially is some organisations which are very hierarchical - any form of dissent may be seen as destructive. Depends a lot on the culture!

#OUB329 @B329Leadership Wk: 16 Even though Agonism helps to identify differences, issues and solve challenges but because of its nature of conflict, people in many organisations confuses it with Antagonism and Anarchy and considers the activist as rebel or anarchist.

W16 | I think the idea of ‘building coalitions’ can be linked closely to ideas of resistance based leadership For example, it's clear how the resistance of London tube workers against @TFL has been strengthened by building coalitions with the RMT Union! #OUB329

@B329Adam @B329Leadership Im not sure if it'll help, but there is a lady who advocates to stop knife crime after her son was killed a few years ago in a town near me. Search Trowbridge, Wiltshire and knife crime, and i expect it will come up!
