On the auspicious occasion of #LabourDayIndia and #MaharashtraDay2026, the @BOIOAMNG organised a Comprehensive Health Check-Up Camp at BOI Staff Quarters, Nerul with a pious motto of promoting health awareness and preventive care among officers and their families. The Inaugural Session of the camp was graced by CGM Shri P. K. Giri ji, along with GMs Shri B. Kumar and Shri Atul Satpute, and DGMs Shri Shashikant Sadhbhartia, Shri Amit Ranjan Singh, Shri Amitabh Shukla, Shri Mahesh Kanvinde, and Shri Manish Kar Ray, whose august presence added great encouragement and motivation to this noble initiative. *The camp benefited more than 400 officers and their kith and kin residing in the quarters and nearby areas*. The programme turned out to be thunderously successful, reflecting the strong spirit of unity and collective well-being. We extend our heartfelt thanks for the ecstatic response received from the residents of Staff Quarters, Nerul, along with many other officers residing in the vicinity, whose enthusiastic participation made this noble initiative a grand success.

PLI for senior officers SBI and BOM senior officers can get up to 100 pc CBI , Canara Bank and BOB up to 60 pc And rest up to 80 pc Only MD and ED entileted for 100 pc of basic pay GM and CGM max 90 pc of BP AGM and DGM max 80 pc of BP CM max 70 pc of BP . PNB is in 80 pc slab So GM and CGM will get max 72 pc of full year basic pay DGM and AGM max 64 pc of annual basic pay CM max 56 pc of annual basic pay. Only top 20 pc percentile will get max of that scale Next 20 top percentile 70 pc of max of that scale Next 20 pc top percentile 50 pc of max of that scale Next 20 pc top percentile 30 pc of max of that scale And bottom 20 percentile will get nothing. Still it is much much more than up to scale 3 PLI and the government must relook into this whole aspect because this discrimination will have a demoralising impact on 95 pc of workforce in PSB .

According to bloomberg media report privatisation of IDBI may not take place for now as bidding price is much below government expectations. Good for IDBI emergency. Bad for this government jo ek bhi kaam dhang se nahi kar sakti . Government disinvestment target goes awry putting strain on fiscal deficit . Privatisation of IDBI Bank was a bad idea .this bank is in good financial condition though current market price is two times of book value which is on higher side .

When Bankers Were Dying in Silence, One MP Spoke in Parliament Yesterday when @AARahimdyfi raised the issue of bankers in Parliament, it did not feel like a politician speaking. It felt like a banker finally got a voice inside the system. - He spoke about over 500 banker suicides. - He spoke about late night pressure. - He spoke about humiliation, targets, and unethical sales pressure. - He spoke about bankers who resign because they simply cannot survive the mental torture anymore. Every day bankers are forced to sit till late night. Every day they are pushed to sell schemes like insurance, APY and other products just to satisfy unrealistic targets. Without numbers, many are not even allowed to go home peacefully. - Bankers are breaking down. - Some are leaving jobs. - Some are silently suffering. - Some are losing their lives. And where were many union leaders are silent, Comfortable and Busy protecting positions instead of protecting people When our own voices were ignored one MP stood up and spoke our truth. Deep respect and salute to #AARahim for showing the real condition of Indian banking: - Target humiliation - Late night pressure - Mental harassment - Unethical sales culture Also respect to those brave bankers who took this issue to him and asked him to raise it in Parliament. That courage matters. Now it is our duty as normal bankers Do not wait silently. Reach your MPs. Tell them the truth and Ask them to raise the reality of banking pressure inside Parliament Because real change will not come from circulars alone. Many people asking me one question repeatedly what next after this strike . I really do not know I am a very small man in this whole UFBU set up .I am GS of AIPNBOF in PNB which has just 7000 membership and I am president of a faction of AIBOA which has around 20000 membership while total number of PSB employees is 7.60 lakh out of which officers are 4.15 lakh . In UFBU set up three unions AIBEA AIBOC and NCBE are in controlling position because all three have more than 1 lakh membership. So on my bank issues I am in a position to take call on my own but for UFBU decisions I operate through AIBEA leadership .though I had temerity to call 9 oct strike in my bank for single issue of 5 days banking and went ahead with the strike . If I had been in a position to take call in UFBU then my next step could have been calling 30 March strike after 9 March conciliation meeting at CLC delhi .28 and 29 March are holiday and 31 march is also a Holiday in large part of our country .so 1 day strike effectively means 4 days strike at the time of all important March closing . And that will either get us close to 5 days banking or put leaders like us and other UFBU leaders in jail . But either way that could be a decisive battle for implementation of 5 days banking week. I wish I was in a position to take that call in UFBU .but I will definitely talk to leadership of my sister union on this in due course . This evening I called chv and thanked him for leading us to this round of strike successfully in turn he said to me you should be happy now you always used to raise this issue of 5 days banking with me . All nine constituents of UFBU GS deserve our appreciation for going on a strike for solo issue of much desired and deserved 5 days banking week for bankers .

Bank strike for work life balance on 27 January seems successful. United Forum of Bank Unions called it — demand 5-day week for banks. Last such strike brought industry to halt on Dec 15-16, 2021 on different issues of wage settlement, 5 day banking & outsourcing of bank work.

We are getting messages That branch officials are getting calls from authorities to open branches tomorrow on strike day .ignore such messages and observe total strike tomorrow who so ever are members of any of 9 union / association must remain on strike irrespective of scales .even offices on probation and those retiring within one year must remain on strike . Comrades those who all wanted 5 days banking and were complaining that unions doing nothing for that now onus upon you all to make this strike 100 pc successful by not reporting to offices tomorrow on strike day . Jo dar gaya woh mar gaya . Aapko darna nahi hai . Stand like rock against all sorts of threats and pressure .
