Besides the pressure to survive, the noise on platforms like tiktok and Instagram, and systems that make them feel unheard, NABWIRE also added that "some students feel that they have less bargaining power to the systems that are supposed to resort or address challenges"

NABWIRE also said; "Students have lost it when it comes to civic participation. Interests in community meetings, local governance and grass-root activism hav declined amongst students. They feel that maybe their voices may not matter and the systems are too broken" @Nabwirerrose
