Thank you, @cpgrabow and @60Minutes for spreading awareness on these Jones Act restrictions.   The sector of the market that the maritime industry refuses to serve, harms Americans and empowers our enemies - which is why I introduced the “American LNG First Act” of 2026. This exempts ships carrying liquefied natural gas from Jones Act restrictions to ensure that American natural gas can be transported to other American ports.

BREAKING: The Trump administration has reportedly conveyed to Iran a plan with 15 conditions for ending the war in the Middle East, per AP. The plan would reportedly include the dismantling of Iran's nuclear program, ceasing support for proxy groups (such as the militant groups Hezbollah and Hamas) and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
