@casualsdirect Standing, great atmosphere and when you scored you ended up in a completely different area and a shoe missing… and when it all died down someone would hold it up in the air 20 yards away shouting, anyone lost a shoe !!!!

🚨🇬🇧 NO UK NEW DRILLING LICENSES
Energy Secretary Ed Miliband says granting licences to drill an abundance of high-quality oil on the doorstep in the North Sea wouldn't make a difference to people.
Instead, the UK continue to buy oil from Norway who extracted out of the same North Sea.
These people are truly insane - the fallout from the Middle East WILL be huge. Just like Germany Britain will be brought to its knees, through an entirely deliberately manufactured energy crisis.

@robstaton Just put it up for a pound and the get it sorted ffs, as a Blade it a joke how long this has taken and the Efl needs to look how they treat clubs better, it’s not the clubs fault how it was left for them to pick up the pieces, but they seem to be constantly punishing them.

EFL Chief Operating Officer Nick Craig, on Sheffield Wednesday:
“The League want to see Sheffield Wednesday continue as a member of the EFL, but ultimately we have to also apply the terms of the League’s Insolvency Policy.
“The policy, of which has been agreed with Clubs and is there to act as guidance for all Clubs and insolvency practitioners, seeks to balance the interests, not only of Sheffield Wednesday, but also of the other 71 Clubs in the EFL.
“We remain open to continuing the conversations with the preferred bidders and the Administrators to try and find a solution that can see Sheffield Wednesday continue as a member of the League.”

The Trap 🚨🇮🇷
The Iranian regime has released footage of underground naval tunnels packed with fast-attack boats, anti-ship missiles, and naval mines.
Something tells me they did not build this last week.
The Islamic Republic has had forty years to prepare for this moment. Forty years of tunnels, proxies, missiles, and patience. And now the United States is being pulled deeper and deeper into exactly the war Iran’s strategists spent four decades designing.
Jared Kushner thought they were not ready.

@TheStarBlades Gus will be sold to Cov when they go up 💯 nailed on…. No way he stops next season, Campbell no where near last season, cash in if we can and get some young blood ⚔️⚔️⚔️
English

United have not abandoned hope that Gus Hamer and Tyrese Campbell will sign new deals at Bramall Lane - but if they don't, the suggestion is that the Blades won't be held to ransom either. Ft a great quote from Chris Wilder

A Scottish grandmother posted the following today, begging the public for help:
"This is my grandson, Lucas, being attacked by a gang of Asian youths.
Lucas attends BELLAHOUSTON ACADEMY in Glasgow.
Lucas is 12 and from the day he started at this school, he has been bullied for being white and little bit overweight plus he is tall for his age.
Lucas has ADHD and a degree of Autism.
These youths are from his school and are older.
They told him they will Rape, Stab or Shoot his mother.
They are terrorising the whole area and have been for around a year. We have now involved the Police, Media and written to the Board of Education.
He is terrified to go back to school, Lucas is the kindest boy you could ever wish to meet.
This has to stop".
Share this and show what’s really happening.

@addey1983 @SheffieldUnited We can all say that pal, wait until next season and the great Var 😂😂😂
English

@BAZLORD @SheffieldUnited We’ve had 2 pens all season and so many worse challenges waved away. You’re preaching to the choir mate
English

@BAZLORD @torpsleftfoot @SheffieldUnited Ref didn’t give it and var wouldn’t intervene as minimal if any contact - im a neutral but hate VAR - football needs fans going home debating decisions made by the ref not some person in front of a tv screen
English

@RJT2000 @torpsleftfoot @SheffieldUnited Like I said Var defo penalty get ready for it next season… you will hate it⚔️⚔️
English

@liquidmetalhedz @SheffieldUnited Watch it back and tell me I’m wrong? Get ready for Var 🙄
English

@BAZLORD @SheffieldUnited You are mental . Like your angry elf manager who can’t stand any decisions if it’s not your way . Mardy cunt
English

@torpsleftfoot @SheffieldUnited Watch the replay and you will find out next season, Var would have given a penalty he touched his right foot
English

@BAZLORD @SheffieldUnited It wasn't a penalty mate, he played for it. Ref made the right call.

@robstaton Wtf is happening at Swfc, can it get any worse for them…. Better off selling off the ground to housing and start again with the money from it. It clearly is too much of a money pit thanks to the last owner… you got to feel fo those fans even if they are rivals.

An open letter to Sheffield Wednesday fans from the Bord consortium's James Bord, Felix Romer and Abdullah Faisal Bin Jamil #SWFC:
To all the long-suffering fans of this great Club, it is with the greatest regret that we have decided not to pursue our bid to become your new custodians.
We have fondly watched Wednesday from afar for many years. It is a Club whose glory has been diminished over the years by poor owners who forgot or intentionally disregarded your passion, your history, and your value. You deserved, and deserve, better.
When the opportunity came about to be part of your next chapter, we jumped at the chance and in good faith began the process of purchase. We have always engaged professionally, transparently and constructively with the administrator, EFL and IFR via an exceptional team of advisers.
Tragically, the historic mishandling of the club and pattern of catastrophic under investment means our sizeable binding bid can no longer be justified. The detailed due diligence our advisers have done over the last two months meant that the sizeable binding bid we made can no longer be justified. As widely reported, we have spent over £4m to help run the Club over the last two months and, after much consideration, have decided that we can no longer continue to do so as the exclusivity agreement we signed means only a small amount could be removed from our offer – regardless of the outcome of our analysis work. We know this will be a bitter disappointment to many – who hoped that the ownership saga would soon be over – and for this we can only apologise wholeheartedly. It is a decision that we have come to after much consideration.
We want to make one final point. We are lifelong football supporters who have been privileged to travel around the world watching the sport we love. Never in all our lives have we seen such a passionate fanbase as those who follow Sheffield Wednesday. We hope whoever picks up this baton appreciates you as we would have. We hope they understand the need to invest in your team, your stadium and your community. Just one part of that trio of expectation is not enough. We know the rest of your season is going to be challenging, as will the next, but you will rise again to your former glory and when you do, we will be cheering your success.
With best wishes
James, Felix and Faisal
