Fitting way to walk it off. Wake Forest scored six runs in the first 2 innings. Didn't score again. Good start from Morningstar; 6 runs given up by the bullpen. Wake had a series win in Clemson teed up, but couldn't get over the finish line. That one's gotta sting.

In many ways, Wake Forest's loss to eliminate itself from the ACC Tournament (and likely NCAAT contention) is emblematic of its entire season. 2-22 from three, 11 off rebounds allowed, major struggles at times offensively. Brutal way to go out. NIT coming to the Joel again.
