@FabrizioRomano Arteta’s empathy for the ref is a direct shot at the "Arteta-is-always-angry" narrative. He’s evolving before our eyes. You can hate the result, but you have to respect the class he’s showing at the finish line. He knows he has the league in his pocket.

Therefore he’s been innocent of the allegations all along, unless you believe in internet litigation and mob justice which would make you a terrible person.

Our 18 year old team manager - an absolute stud senior basketball player who wanted to help us out and be part of our program this year - was restricted to the dugout on Friday by the HP ump for not wearing a helmet when grabbing a bat off the field between hitters. So dumb 🤣

Balls coming off the bat 100 + mph in play and guys over 50 standing 75 feet away in the middle of the field unprotected are yelling at athletes to put on a helmet to get a foul ball 300 feet away.

The Kansas City Royals have released LHP Asa Lacy, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2020 draft who signed for a franchise-record $6.67M bonus for a pitcher.
The 26-year-old logged just 80 innings over six injury-riddled seasons (7.09 ERA). Injuries included a lat/shoulder issue (’21), back injuries (’22–’23) and two Tommy John surgeries (’23, ’25). Lacy last pitched in an affiliated game Aug. 2022.
