How were they victims exactly? What constitutional right do straight people have that gay people don’t? It has nothing to do with keeping up appearances. The old fight was for equal rights. To be like everyone else. That happened and now they want to be on a pedestal instead. It’s not about being equal anymore. It’s about being special.

Or…… we leave politics out of college sports and let the athletes decide what school presents the best opportunity for them to advance themselves athletically and academically. It’s insane that ESPN just lets this dude openly politically grift with zero repercussions. I thought it was a sports entertainment network? When did politics start being included?

Hey retard, if Bauer did nothing wrong, which was proven when he was exonerated in court and the entire situation was admitted to being a hoax, then your original post doesn’t even make sense. I’d give up the white knight act. It’s not going to help you stop being an adult virgin.

“No means no” A concept that Trevor Bauer does not understand in 2026
Trevor Bauer (トレバー・バウアー)@BauerOutage

Hypothetical: You’re the owner of an MLB team. I offer to take $0 salary and sign a minor league contract and go to Low A. If the “he sucks now” crowd is right and I get lit up, you cut me, lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. If the “clubhouse cancer” crowd is right, you see it immediately at Low A and cut me. You lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. If there’s massive negative PR, which we already know there won’t be, you just cut me and move on. The story is dead in a couple days, you lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club. But, assuming none of those things happen, which they obviously wouldn’t, if you like what you see, you can promote me to AA and re evaluate me there. Then AAA. Then the big leagues. If I earn it, which you’d be 100% in control of deciding. If you don’t think I’m good enough, you lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. You could take away my “antics”. You could take away my social media. You could ask anything of me. If I don’t comply, you cut me, lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club. What logical reason is there to not do this? At worst, you cut me and there’s no risk to the big league club. At best, you get a Cy Young winner for $0 who you know can still pitch and could help the big league team if and when you see fit.

Why are you so mad I pointed out that it’s a fact lmaoo, and do you think I was born yesterday? I am aware that liberals do that. You’re being so defensive over nothing lol. Chill tf out and take a chill pill. And I literally never said they’re trying to kill all of us I simply stated that there are people who openly call for the death of the lgbt community.

And there are liberals that openly wish death on republicans? What’s your point? You’re trying to take a one off example and apply it to the general public. Care to tell me one thing that’s happened to the LGBTQ community in the past 2 years that warrants you saying “they are trying to kill all of you?” I’ll wait.

There were 833 confirmed cases on hantavirus in the US in 2020. There were nearly 60 people contact traced from an event in the northeastern US in 2018. An extremely credible virologist who predicted Covid almost 100% correct said there is no risk for outbreak. Stop fearmongering. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

> be hantavirus > emerge from rat urine in Patagonian landfill > infect Dutch birdwatchers nobody suspects > board luxury cruise with 147 passengers from 23 countries > kill first man in 11 days, nobody notices > spread through respiratory droplets in confined spaces > only hantavirus that kills human-to-human > have 35% mortality rate but WHO says "chill" > watch Canary Islands literally refuse the ship entry > incubation: 9-40 days of walking around asymptomatic > one woman dies in South African airport bathroom > her seatmates on commercial flight also infected > force international contact tracing across 5 continents > escape containment twice: hospital and airplane > become reason Spain debates saving plague ship CONFIRMED IN: Netherlands, UK, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa, Spain, USA, Singapore, France, Argentina

Israel has confirmed their first recorded case of a human with hantavirus. They reportedly contracted a different strain of the virus months ago, unrelated to the MV Hondius cruise ship outbreak.

We have multiple real world examples of this exact strain of viral outbreak in the past 40 years. It has behaved the same every time. In 2018 in the northeast nearly 60 people were identified through contact tracing as exposed to Andes Hantavirus. There was no outbreak. In 2020 there were 833 cases in the US. No outbreak. This virus has been documented since 1993. Also, by nature this strain of virus doesn’t exactly meet the standard criteria for a mass outbreak like Covid. I.e low R0 due to a high mortality rate, long incubation period, spread without a vector. Due to the political climate that currently exists in the United States everything is exaggerated. People fear monger for clicks. Hence the millions of posts you see people making claiming this virus is going to cause another global lockdown despite every shreds of empirical data saying the opposite. While science does change and viruses can mutate that is the exception. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it’s probably a duck.

Hopping in here as bluntly I've kinda been ignoring this reminiscent of covid era insanity thread but you've caught my attention. You work in the field. Ya. I'm a layman in your field. So I have a layman question☺️ We are told to trust the science but would you say the science is only as sound as the information we have today for it to stand on & that established science can & does change. Now to your point here. Would you say that fear itself is such a motivating belief factor that quite often (with covid being the most glaring recent example) when the science does change the general layman refuses to trust the science? In effect creating a social contagion of fear mongering? I think this is what you're referencing & I'm hoping as a scientist you will be able to answer this with less of a clinical response & more of the actual human behind the science slant because as a layman one can throw this question about in circles probably forever🙃 If you're of a mind. Thank you kindly☺️ & either which way, Much Love💗

Respirator masks like N95s will prevent hantavirus infection. Clean air will drastically reduce hantavirus spread. We already have the tools, people just need to use them. Public health requires everyone’s participation. “You do you” gets people killed.

Read the definition of the word science for me once time. We have empirical data on this exact strain of virus. It is currently behaving the exact way every other outbreak from the past 40 years has. I thought we were supposed to trust the science? Or does that only apply when you’d like it to?

@BBBetsOG @broadwaybabyto @jenni_spy Science is a process. It’s absolutely brutal reading someone “in the field” assessing future outcomes in virology solely as a paradigm of case history. There is nothing but change in this world. Who am I fearmongering? There’s 6 people reading my tweets, all on accident.

@BBBetsOG @broadwaybabyto @jenni_spy I’m not dodging. You have conviction based on evidence. That’s great. Every copy a virus makes can mutate, whether or not it proliferates or changes the infection profile. The fact a large outbreak has never occurred or been contained is a risk factor, low probability high risk.
