In my experience…kids who have parents that are successful coaches (HS, college, or pro) are usually the easiest parents do deal with, the quietest people in the gym, and the last person causing issues…even when they often know more than the kid's coach.

@BBCoachCJ We’ve got 9 girls who really deserve first team all county this season and we’ve got a pretty clear top 10 IMO. That’s going to put quite a few girls who made all-conference teams on the HM list as far as the county but the county was very good.

Both girls brought a lot more to the table than points, but this is how similar their scoring seasons were. Kyla Bryant, SHS, 29 games, 500 points, 17.2 avg. Hannah Wilkerson, NR, 29 games, 499 points, 17.2 avg.

Girls basketball lost about 50,000 players nationally from 2018 to 2019, a 10.3% decline. We know football has trended down bc it got headlines, but this should also set off alarms.
