I'm going to talk about flash light Nexus Night gate. Apparently some people have reported you can look into the packs with a flashlight and see which cards are inside the pack. Obviously if you buying these to open, I would not buy single packs. Furthermore, I think from this point onwards Nexus Night kits are going to have a HUGE premium. I wouldn't be surprised if the price of them goes over 10k within the next year. Eventually normal people will be priced out of Nexus Night kits because there isn't that many of them. Then just like how people buy vintage weighable packs in Pokemon, or other tcgs they will buy the Origins Nexus Night packs. I do not see this hurting the long term price appreciation of them. It's a unfortunate manufacturing flaw, but at the end of the day these are the 1st ever Nexus Night pack, are already out of print, and are relatively scarce. They will always have demand, and they will always appreciate in price. The same way people sealed collect packs in every single TCG they will sealed collect these as well, and some people will still open them despite it not being a wise thing to do. Personally I am not worried about the future of these. I understand there will probably be some angry people in the comments saying that I'm just pumping my bags, or whatever, but bookmark this post, and come back in the long term future. @JBLSpeakeryrek Yes on this I agree. Sealed is low for english, but im looking at total decks as i have stated above. 800-1.2k total english decks (so 200-300 sets, many are opened) 2-2.8k chinese decks, can find sealed decks.

Ok, thought exercise time on Riftbound trial deck populations. This guy believes PSA pop counts are inaccurate and it's better to guess supply based on price (lol). See, yes I do think people are wrong on the ENG pop that is why I'm gonna post a tweet on it. Now, 19 Jinx from the Eng trial deck have been graded. If the claim that only 100 Jinx decks exist is true, it means 19% of the total pop has been graded. I think this is very unlikely, but yes it is possible. More reasonably, we can estimtate the rates assuming 5k silver packs (per @RiftboundGG) have been graded contaning the specific leader card and how many have been graded by PSA. Tbh the exact number doesn't matter because it's relative, but it's easier to visualize so let's use that. Using the same rates applied to ENG and CN number of graded leaders, you get a range of 900-1.3k ENG decks (230-340 complete sets) and 500-670 CN decks (130-170). And when you see this, I thought think - ok, this sounds off, but anecdotally we are told there are more CN decks as they were released subsequently also. So let's revise the rates a bit, and assume only 25% (this is arbitrary) of CN decks were graded relative to silver packs rate. This gives a range of 2-2.7k Chinese decks across all 4, or 500-700 complete sets. Now people argue ENG rates are much higher. I was gonna us 4x modifier, but let's be more generous and use 5x. This puts ENG decks at 700-1.1k, or 170-270 complete sets. This is far from the 5-10% ENG/CN supply people are suggesting, and I suspect it's part of a false narrative to pump the ENG prices by people who have hoarded them. Ofc I could be totally confidently wrong and somehow a huge number of ENG decks are already graded. I do feel you often don't need to overthink these things. For me, I like working off numbers than just throwing out random numbers. Sure, both are speculative, but I think dismissing numbers and explaining why they should be dismissed is EVEN MORE speculative.

What is Project K? Why are the cards so sought after? Are they a good investment for the long term? Should I buy them now? I'm going to answer all of these questions. Project K is Riftbound's previous name before they changed the project's name to Riftbound. Project K cards refer to cards that were released before the release of the game, and have a completely different style to them. This includes A red Chinese promo pack(Lunar New Year Teemo), A Chinese silver promo pack(Jinx,Yasuo,Volibear,Viktor holographics),and Trial decks(Jinx,Yasuo,Volibear,Viktor) with exclusive card available in English and Chinese. These cards are sought after because they are the first cards officially released for Riftbound, they have a unique style with unique arts, and they had very limited print runs. I do believe that these will perform well long term because there is a scarce supply with strong global demand for these packs. There is a bidding war currently between China and the US to get these packs because both collector bases value them greatly. I believe the price will continue to increase on them as the game grows and gets more hyped, so waiting is not ideal in my opinion. @poke_maam Also the sealed count is extremely low for English, project k was receiving a lot of hate on their card design so at the beginning people thought it would be a dead game as they had Legends of Runeterra before and was doing well.

@poke_maam Tbh this is a stretch, unused decks were either destroyed, or close to half or more where played with, which is why a lot of singles will have messed up edges when you buy online. Ive bought plenty from players and ebay that have used the deck to play.

@poke_maam @RiftboundGG Dont use psa/beckett for Chinese cards, china has 6 well known grading companies that you can chekc the pop count on (BcTc, CCG, GBTC, CGC Cards, OCD & BTCG) also some of these cards went to south korea and japan so their countries preferred grading company may have some as-well.

Origins has now ran back up passed $250/box again. I don't think Riot is going to be able to print enough with the current demand to actually get it anywhere near MSRP as they promised they would do. Interested to see how they handle this since they promised MSRP around 8 months ago. The lowest they've managed is 170(42% higher than msrp) on the secondary market. @RiftboundGG This deserves higher highs as the first teemo and last project k card to be made it should be considered a grail of grails. I have four psa 10s and wont sell below $25,000 I think these should be at the same price as best of teemo or higher.

@RiftboundGG Also, this will have a lower pop than sigs as we do not know how many riot prints for each sig which will probably be the same amount for each sig. As this is out of print and is alpha print, this is a no brainer that prices will spike

@RiftboundGG No brainer project k and first appearance of teemo in a card even tho it has no texture like the sigs. Pop is 5k but people dont realize how many have factory errors or print lines or edge wear, i have opened more than 15 and can say the quality is not that good.
