@RentemSpoons214 As long as players are enrolled in classes on time, that’s really the only cutoff. Certain cutoffs like May 27 for guys to withdraw from NBA Draft, but can technically add guys from high school, portal, or overseas until enrollment deadline.

@JustHere4Hogs Well, if Billy and Meleek both come back that’s 10 non-walkons. If you remove injuries and redshirts, that’s already more than the start of the season last year. They’ll add at least 1 more.

For all the talk about Darius Acuff being this "small guard" it's funny that he has a longer wingspan than Kingston Flemings, Keaton Wagler, Labaron Philon, Bennett Stirtz, and Brayden Burries

The “too small” talk just gets funnier. Defensive issues? Maybe won’t be a stud defender, but they’re vastly overblown. The man is special.

You know what would be pretty neat? A starting Center.

@dogtowndynasty There have been rulings given to players allowing for four years of NCAA eligibility after starting JUCO. Ewin did not start JUCO, but he’s still only played three years of NCAA ball. No idea how the NCAA will view this, but to say there’s no point even bringing it up is silly.

@BBakerHogs I just can’t with the people that even bring up JUCO waivers (no one has been approved for one since football ended and NCAA has Aguilar ruling to fall back on) and unprecedented waivers for guys playing games over the redshirt limit. Cal beefed it at center. Call it what it is.

The Razorback frontcourt continues to be a hot topic. Let’s talk about it. The Hogs were clearly in on Obinna Ekezie, and reports suggest that he had been part of their plan for a while. However, rumblings hint that something within Ekezie’s camp or personal preferences (outside of purely NIL) pushed him to Louisville. I won’t pretend to know the full story here, just that he’s not a Razorback and Louisville is killing this offseason. As a Razorback fan, It’s completely valid and justified to be frustrated that the Hogs had their sights on a guy for a long time, causing them to potentially miss the opportunity to recruit other bigs. And still miss on their primary target. It sucks. It’s frustrating. It’s not a great look. It leaves them in a tough spot. It may also feel like there are literally no options left. But that’s not necessarily the case. There are several international options. There are guys with cases for medical/redshirt/JUCO waivers. There are guys that could withdraw from the Draft. We don’t know what will happen with the 5 for 5 rule potentially being passed. Again, they missed the opportunity to grab one of the headliner names and top portal bigs. But they’re not out of options. ITS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER: they don’t need a superstar big man. They just need enough size to not get bullied. The guards and wings and now Miikka will carry most of the load on both end of the court. They still have an INSANE level of talent coming in. They just need a little size. And they can still find that. Completely fair and justified to be frustrated with the plan, the process, and the lack of information. But the offseason is not over. Unfortunately, it won’t be for several months. #WPS

@fnvaughn @davids0047 No disrespect to Elmir, I hope he find time somewhere. He wasn’t going to be a contributor on any SEC roster regardless of development, imo. Not an indictment on Cal, Elmir was a walk-on and not much more.

@BBakerHogs @davids0047 Ok. I missed that factoid somehow. I do think his getting almost no playing time this season illustrates Calipari’s lack of concern for developing size that isn’t already game-ready. The team next season is likely going to look much like it did this past season.
