@MightyGazelle1 I know you're not commenting on the quality, but someone needs to have the courage to say that these games are all a disappointment. MK World is worse than 8 Deluxe in every way. Pokopia is boring, Yoshi is dumbed down for babies only. DK Bananza is the only heater here.

The Switch 2 has only been out a little over a year, this is actually crazy.

I am no longer entertaining the idea that Marathon should have been a different experience or that Bungie is somehow wrong about the game they made. I refuse to wait an arbitrary amount of time to appreciate the incredible experience in front of me all so I can fit in with a crowd that wasn't going to play it anyway. Marathon is an incredible game. Not in retrospect. Right now.

@Ag0at Yea we ended up trying that with no fill and its actually some of the most fun I've had in the game in a while, but its one map/mode. I feel like they should be scrambling to make less restrictive/sweaty game modes. Cryo Archive is never happening for MOST players I'd bet.

@BBunk_ I agree on these, actually. Though you should be able to go into Night Marsh Survival and just disable crew fill. Not the most intuitive, but it should work!

@Blau_Drache_ I was playing with my friend last night and we were talking about how Bungie got too indulgent with the cutscenes and music. It matches the vibe of the game well but it's not pleasant to look at or listen to at all. Tbh I think the game has a lot of poor design choices.

Setting up a new printer and it is amazing there have been exactly zero advances in printer technology in like 20 years

@ChrisRGun I think if you maybe had a separate gear box for PVE it could work. They should do something to boost the player count cause I genuinely like the game, but not catering to Casuals in any sense is going to kill this game quick.

@PaulTassi @Forbes I still disagree with the 95 score, but it seems less crazy the more I play. Game is a banger with the much needed patches! Controller remapping is the only thing missing now imo.

@DestinLegarie I struggled with getting it lit too. I managed to get it, but it definitely took several tries. I hate this modern sense of superiority anyone has when people come forth with valid game criticisms. Something as simple as lighting an arrow shouldn't be a struggle in any way.

Getting called dumb for this but it’s just bad design. I stick the arrow in, nothing happens. No feedback I’m close enough or doing it right. I try a different spot. The bezier falls over. I try another. My character bumps it and puts his bow down. No light. The only interact is to turn it off. I give in and google it. I was right the first time. The video is flooded with comments complaining about the same experience. The game has little issues like this that detract from the fun. @DadLovesGames @DestinLegarie It's bugged or by design maybe where it needs a hyper specific angle to light. I tilted my arrow into the fire over and over and it finally worked.

I'm seeing a lot of hate from people who barely played Marathon, but as someone who has 15 hours of mostly solo play, I do admit content that I will never be able to to play isn't the direction I expected. I actually want the game to succeed, not just cater to streamers.

I understand people bouncing off the first few hours of Crimson Desert. I also hate the whole “it takes ten hours to get good” issue with many games, I just hope people can push through and experience what I have. I’m still playing a ton, so much more to do
