Warwickshire council is set to spend £322,710 to upgrade just 400 metres of cycle path, that’s £800 per metre. For a path on an old railway line that barely connects anything essential. Meanwhile: potholes go unfixed, schools need repairs, buses are crowded. Is this a good use of tax payer funds?

@ChimeWhistle Interesting - as with IEP (Class80x) the built in 3" step & rack & pinion drive that prevents any simple level boarding (& delivers plenty of boarding delays) usually seals fairly well But does relieve sauna effect from the exhaust in a duct against the corridor by the toilet

I stood on a crowded CrossCountry Voyager today and the gap between the closed door and body was so wide that it felt like the best air conditioning. Alas, the wind noise wasn't quite so welcome.
