Saw Young Washington. Considering Angel studios is a relatively small studio, this movie was pretty good. I’ll give it a 7.5 out of 10. The Good: All the actors give solid performances. The action is pretty competently choreographed. The costumes are okay for the most part. And the story was enjoyable. The Bad: The linear warfare shown is not the most terrible thing I’ve ever seen but certainly not the greatest. You can tell they were trying to maximize what they could do with the people they had. Also the French bring what look like ship guns to a battle in the middle of the Ohio territory………yeah sure they did (it’s even more infuriating when you see the Brit’s have a proper light field cannon). This then leads to the really bad. They very clearly used generative AI for a few scenes. Now while I don’t agree I understand why they might use that for some of the shots as they had a limited budget for some of the shots. But at the same time they could have really done without the ai. There is one scene in particular at the very end that is so obviously AI and it was incredibly unnecessary. Honestly the AI bits are what hurt my overall score. I would have appreciated the movie more if they did what they could with what they have.

I will be relaxing on here, find out someone I thought I was completely cool with made it so I didn’t follow them/they unfollowed me and I’ll realize that none of these people are adults because if you have an issue with me and we are in some way friends—- why didn’t you just communicate that 💀 why are you acting like we are not all 30+. I don’t understand that type of stuff at all. Maybe it’s just how people are.
