Celebrating the 100th Birthday of President Jimmy Carter with our Upper Sixth A Level pupils today. There was cake, reading material, and a re-evaluation of Carter’s legacy. We also sent a birthday message to JC and added our pic to the @CarterCenter mosaic! #JimmyCarter100

A fantastic day for our A Level pupils yesterday! Some fine results, celebrations aplenty - the culmination of lots of hard work. Wishing them well as they move on to the next phase. Best wishes from all the Politics staff 🙌

One of the proudest moments of my life voting for myself in Clapham & Brixton Hill in a General Election. To everyone who has crossed the box for me and the @LibDems today — thank you. Your support means the world, and I’m so grateful 🔶

Exercised my right to vote ✅ Voted by proxy for a friend ✅ Reminding/nagging family to vote ✅ All that remains is to encourage our current and former pupils to USE YOUR VOTE!!! 🗳️🗳️🗳️ (Hopefully, that’s at least one thing you learnt in studying the subject!) 👍

Powers of persuasion. Biden states that the government will pay for the reconstruction of Baltimore's bridge and he expects Congress to back him. Due to Separation of Powers he can't do this on his own, but he has certainly applied pressure to HoR to pledge the money needed

The people of Baltimore can count on us to stick with them every step of the way, until the port is reopened and Francis Scott Key bridge is rebuilt. We're not leaving until it's done.

Fourteen years ago today, I signed the Affordable Care Act into law. Afterwards, one Republican member of the House called the ACA the “most dangerous piece of legislation ever passed in Congress.” Another predicted the country would “never recover from it.” But then something else happened: it actually worked.
