For folks waking up:
- The entire Senate decided to end the shutdown of DHS in the middle of the night.
- ICE and Border Patrol receive no new funding. But both may be able to use the windfall of Big, Beautiful Bill funding already flowing.
(Note: Customs *is* funded so inaccurate to say “CBP” isn’t funded.)
- This is the funding plan Dems wanted for weeks.
- But. They got no reforms. None.
- The House can vote on this as soon as today.

BREAKING. The Senate just passed funding for most of DHS for the rest of the fiscal year. The bill funds all but ICE and *Border Patrol* This was by unanimous voice vote. It now goes to the House, which is still in town and can vote later today. The bill contains no reforms. It comes after POTUS pledged to fund TSA, removing a key pressure point.
