It's because MVP is not true competition for the UFC. They know it and they're not trying to be. If they can put on 3-4 events a year similar this it'll be great for the fans, but the majority of fighters it's not gonna help raise pay. Just the established names no longer tied to the UFC will get paid.
PFL tried to be competition, and it just hasn't worked.
Striking is where it's at @lthomasnews. Climb on board the Husky Fat train as it's taking off. High level kickboxing (4oz, and big gloves) is back in the U.S.
