@GrageDustin An old friend of mine in his early 40s died alone in a hospital of Covid. His wife, mom, dad, son, and daughter wasn’t allowed to be with him before or after his death even though they all had Covid too.

I understand what Florio's doing. At some point, I respect that he loves to be the agitator. He's aiming at ESPN. OK.

It was public record if you knew it happened and where it happened. Florio's being a bit specious here--trying to make it look like it was right there to see and we chose to ignore it. But if you didn't know... you're just supposed to call every police dept randomly every day?

It’s no secret that the big time guys like Schefter and Rapaport do favors for info, I just didn’t think our local media were corrupt and hide something potentially so massive.

I don’t know if I would’ve reported it or not
If it was something that is going to affect his availability for the season, then maybe, but I’m hesitant about reporting people’s personal medical stuff like that.

Why are Fan Boys so furious that they read the story about Shanahan's accident yesterday in some context and not 15% of it 2 days ago with no context?
Then he showed up for 20 minutes of practice today. THE HORRORS. They had to wait 2 days for the story?

If somebody had lied to me--if it was clear today that he might be out a long time--I'd think very differently now. But he was out there today for a bit. How did it change the world for the news of the accident to come out 2 days after I first heard a bit about it? It didn't.
