Our best shot for reopening w/ guidance will be a rapid, accurate, home (or other venue) #COVID19 test I found 10 companies working on it (2 w/ #CRISPR) These are NOT home kits to send off; they get results in 20-30 mins Availability best estimate > 2-3 months We're getting there

@TurtleDynasty Hey Lawrence, thanks for reaching out! We're still considering hosting an online conference soon. We didn't get a lot of interest from our outreach to folks and bandwidth is low. If we had a bunch of folks wanting to help make it happen that sounds awesome.

@BDYHAX Is this still happening? I'd love to participate. I'm not very noteworthy, but I think I'm cool. 😅 I've given talks at events at my alma mater about how I've used Cyborgism to explore and respond to my disability, and what I've learned from doing that.

Who would you want to see speak at an online #humanaugmentation and #biohacking conference some time in the next month? What kind of workshops do you want us to host?

"The popular image of a cyborg is one of body augmentation, but both of us have been more interested in the emotional cyborg – those who use tools to emote, express compassion, build alliances across networks, disperse into anonymity. "

If you are writing a piece about how new technology is changing human behavior, you must absolutely acknowledge & build your argument around a recognition that the 20th century fundamentally changed how most humans lived. Never before have a majority of humans had the following:

@ysoh Too many things to list here. In short: the lack of preparedness/oversight by the general populace (needed to really change anything) as to how quickly tech/improvements in tech in fields like genetics, drones, AI/ML (especially deepfakes/face recog) will permeate/effect society
