@greendragonhq Rich people don't pay much in taxes on their wealth. They don't pay income tax. They will only leave if the City is not safe. NYC caters to the rich. Did you see how quickly Manhattan was cleaned during the winter snow?

They said they were going to move out when heard Mamdani’s policies. They said they were going to move out when he started polling well. They said they were going to move out when he pulled ahead in the polls. The said they were going to move out when he won the Democratic nomination. They said they were going to move out when he was the election. They were wrong. Mamdani and those like him are the future of American politics. It’s time to start taxing billionaires.

We as conservatives love to talk about how this doesn’t work and makes everything worse, which is true, but we also need to make the case for how morally depraved it is. Envy, greed, resentment, pitting Americans against each other… it’s absolutely evil. Scum of the Earth.

American tried to order at Subway in Miami, Florida but unfortunately the workers don’t speak a word of English, or understand English He says to put the mayo on after toasting, they can’t understand him. They speak in Spanish to each other, then put the mayo on before toasting because they have no idea what he said We should not have to deal with this in America. Speaking English should be mandatory for all customer facing jobs

At least from what I can recall, this is the first time Trump has come after Mamdani like this since they had their first chummy meeting at the White House in November. (Seems he's angry about the NYC pied-á-terre tax Mamdani and Hochul announced the state will adopt this year).

@LouPerez Speaking of immigrants, are you people serious? Immigrants all over the country are under attack. But the big thing is a grocery store opening in 3 years. I don't get it.

If Mamdani had grown up with immigrant parents who ran a convenience store -- and not privileged with an academic father and filmmaker mother -- he'd know how messed-up it is to bring state-owned grocery stores to New York. (He'd also know how insane a $30 million price tag is.)

Mayor Zohran Mamdani made $1,643 in royalties last year associated with his brief music career, according to a NY1 review of the mayor’s 2025 tax filing. What else is clear from the review is that the Mamdani household does not appear to be the millionaires some of his 2025 rivals attempted to make them out to be. Read more: specne.ws/JJS4Cj

Mayor Zohran Mamdani released his 2025 tax return to be viewed by reporters. He made $131,296 from his Assembly salary, plus $1,643 in royalties - presumably from his rap career. His wife reported an income of $8,234 as a graphic designer. Story to come as we dig in.

You now need ~$116K income to afford a home in Florida. Half the state makes less than ~$77K. So who exactly is buying these houses? That’s the real question no one wants to answer

Zohran’s wife’s income was <$10k last year that she made as a graphic designer. All these people are malevolent creatives and theater kids supported in NYC by their affluent parents. The stereotypes are absolutely true.

These “gang takedowns” that send dozens of young Black men to prison without changing any of the underlying factors that result in young people joining gangs don’t work. The cops and DAs just periodically arrest a new bunch of people, but nothing really changes.
Jessica S. Tisch@NYPDPC

These 36 gang members were some of the most violent criminals in New York City, who terrorized Brownsville for years. Thanks to the precision policing of NYPD detectives, they are finally off our streets. nbcnewyork.com/news/local/cri…
