International Federations who have absolute authority during the International period are assessing our / their players would benefit more from rest and recovery following rigorous assessments with the World Cup being so close. Stay Mad.

I do think it's slightly weird behaviour from the England fans that booed Ben White at points last night... No one knows the ins and outs of what happened with Steve Holland... The biggest loser of his self-imposed exile was Ben White, with the Stones-Maguire axis unlikely to be shifted. He doesn't owe England anything, it was a personal decision. Not sure booing him is the right course of action for an introverted character re-entering the international stage.

England midfielder Jordan Henderson on Ben White being booed: "They listen to what is being said in the media, and a lot of the time what the media says isn't true. “Not many people know the ins and outs of what happened in Qatar and it is for us to deal with internally. Ben has been good since he came back in and we will support him as team-mates. "A few of us have been there, it is difficult when it is you, but you have to try not to take it too personally. "The media can spin things in certain ways, which isn't always the truth and then fans can pick up on that and think it is the truth. "It is really difficult when that happens, so it is important for us to make sure he is OK, which I am sure he is."

The transfer portal has screwed up college sports. My bill is simple: you get 5 consecutive years to play 5 seasons and you get 1 transfer. After that, if you transfer again, you sit out a year. This will fix 80% of the issues in NIL today.

Exclusive: @CoachForGov introduces ‘Student Athlete Act Of 2026’ aimed at curtailing transfer portal chaos. It give athletes five years to play five seasons, while also penalizing a player 1 year for transferring a second time, he tells @OutKickHotMic outkick.com/sports/tommy-t…

Hey NCAA, us more about players that don’t show “loyalty,” don’t want to go through “adversity” and how player movement impacts stability. Tell us more about “tampering” and “poaching.” The Coaches Portal is ALWAYS open. Funny how silent coaches and administrators are about that.

@JerseySpur5 Probably be best for Spurs to focus on the bottom of the table and their relegation battle as opposed to the top of the table.

Absolutely shameless this lot. Of course, there should be a rule whereby if you withdraw from the internationals through ‘injury’ you then have to miss the following league game.

@SelecaoTalk @CoolHandJakeGS Shocking, prioritizing the club that actually pays his salary over scrimmages. After the way they nearly ruined his season earlier this year, who can blame Arsenal/Gabriel?

@CoolHandJakeGS I want him part of the collective with just 4 games until the World Cup. He’s clearly prioritising club football over the national team.

No surprise to see Gabriel Magalhães pull out of the Brazil squad given Arsenal’s title run in. It’s not the first or even second time he’s done this. Clear tactic from Arsenal & Arteta. Brazil needs to be tougher when players continually do this.

@The_Kyle_Davis Great pull. He’s not the only hooper turned football player to be at Ohio State either. There was a QB here that won the award. Do you know who it is?
