Modders have installed Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS on a Nintendo Switch and successfully launched the native ARM64 beta version of the Steam Linux client. This follows the release of Proton 11.0-Beta1, which adds improved ARM64EC support through updated Wine and the FEX translation layer to run x86 software on Arm hardware. The hacked console boots straight into the Steam interface with zero hardware changes. No games have been tested yet, so real-world performance is still unknown

@InterstellarUAP I consider myself agnostic, but not atheist. I found atheists to be militantly intolerant of religion in general, but noticably less intolerant of Islam. Christianity seems to be public enemy #1 among the militant atheists I interacted with on social media, so I keep my distance.
