Our community members should not be footing this $43M bill - indeed, the community needs MORE support during this time. When the city's health and employment services are robbed of funding, people suffer.

Great to catch up with @allyschweitzer for this article. @BreadfortheCity has seen upwards of a 400% increase in need - going from feeding 5,000 households a month to 5,000 a week in the span of this pandemic. The need will only increase without bold leadership. #JustReliefDC
