Year 1 have had a fabulous Seaside WOW Day! They learned about the UK water systems, watched an interesting video about looking after our coral reefs and then had an afternoon of water play, sandcastles, chromebooks and painting all finished with an ice lolly! 🍦🐠 #BGS_Year1

Year 1 had fun halving numbers today - we even tried to half a 3 digit number and an odd number #BGSYear1 #BGSMaths #Learningwithoutlimits

Year 1 have been busy making clay fish for Artsfest! 🎨 Our new project topic is The Seaside, and we can’t wait to paint our fish soon to bring them to life! #BGS_Year1

Our theme of the fortnight is Mental Health Awareness! Butterfly class have been learning about the importance of taking time to relax/meditate, talking about our feelings (especially worries) and reflecting everyday on the things we are grateful for #BGS_Year1

Year 2 had a wonderful day at Cotswold wildlife park seeing a wide range of animals snd reptiles, tying in with our Rainforest topic. #project #rainforest #weloveschooltrips @BGS_Trips

Year 1 had a brilliant time on their Windsor Castle trip! They got a chance to view King and Queen’s rooms, discovered lots of fun facts about our Monarch and even got to watch the changing of the guards! A fun filled day learning about what makes Windsor so special 👑💂‍♀️BGS_Year1

Year 1 had a lovely time in Outdoor Learning today learning all about British birds! They tested their knowledge of birds we see around school by identifying pictures as a team 🐦‍⬛

Year 1 celebrated World Maths Day by becoming potion masters and exploring capacity in maths! 🧪 They made predictions about different containers capacity, then filled them up to create vibrant, magical potions! ✨ #BGS_Year1

Year 1 had a SUPER time on Superhero WOW Day! ✨They created amazing superhero artwork, dressed up as their favoruite hero and even explored how AI can bring their superhero stories to life with Mrs Graham! #BGS_Year1
