I always tell the kids we are doing something fun in math… but today was legit fun 🤣 A little Surface Area Extension today with my 7th graders Building their Dream home and calculating cost of materials! @FSMSFalcons

Our PLC visited @FSMSFalcons 6th grade math today! We discussed vertical alignment of expectations and even classroom routines and procedures that support our new teachers and resident teacher! We all had great takeaways for now and future!

What a fun surprise and honor!! I truly enjoyed coaching and working with our students outside the math classroom! We laughed hard and put the work in to have a great season ❤️ This award is 💯 because of the kids I had the joy to coach 🎉

Loved watching the kids explore how to calculate slope after we defined slope as a measure of steepness of a line using desmos ice climber and relating it to speed! The conversation were on point today ❤️ @FSMSFalcons @FBISDmath
