There’s a long term brand association conversation that needs to take place with all college athletes. There’s a benefit being affiliated and associated with these massive universities and the fan bases after you’re done playing. Chasing the bag in the moment is only part of the story. Chasing the bag while strategically aligning yourself with opportunities that will make sense once you’re done playing is the ultimate goal. You want to keep yourself in a position to keep winning long after the whistle stops and that starts with winning and being a honorable individual while on campus. These are things I didn’t quite understand when I was younger so I teach, articulate and impart on any young man I come in contact with (pause). These game of business is the forever game. Actively participating in sports is for the moment. I’ll do a special show weekly talking about the business of sports. It’s aimed at having conversations around sports and business that kids normally don’t have. The more you know the more dangerous you can become. #StartWithTheFacts
